NEET PG 2019 Counselling Process

The NEET PG 2019 counselling process will require candidates to login to the official website of NBE using their NEET PG Roll Number, NEET PG testing ID, name, stream, birth date and a security pin. The NEET PG 2019 result will probably be announced in the last week of January. You can read about the 2018 NEET PG counselling process below:

The result of NEET PG 2018 Counselling Round 1 has been announced. Candidates can now check the result of NEET PG All India Counselling 2018. The result has been announced by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the counselling conducting body of NEET PG 2018 on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Step by Step Process of NEET PG Counselling 2018

Step 1: Registration

This is the first step for NEET-PG counselling. Qualified candidates have to enter their Roll number, Stream, Testing ID, Candidates’ name, Date of Birth and a Security pin to register themselves for counselling process. Afterwards, a Registration slip is generated indicating the details of candidates.

Step 2: Login for NEET PG 2018 Counselling

After successful registration, candidates have to login with their login ID and the chosen Password.

Step 3: Filling and Submission of Choices for NEET PG 2018 Counselling

In this step, candidates have to fill and submit their choices for NEET-PG counselling purposes. Candidates have to fill the choices according to their preferences.

Step 4: NEET PG 2018 Mock Counselling

Here, candidates are given a mock practice of how the counselling process works, as conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The allotment of the seats is done on the basis of applicant’s choices and All India Rank.

Step 5: Choice Locking Facility for NEET PG 2018 Counselling

After filling the choices, candidates get an option to lock their choices by clicking on ‘Choice lock’. For choice locking of NEET PG 2018 counselling, candidates are required to enter their password. After locking the choices, it is advisable to take printout of the locked choices.

Step 6: Seat Allotment for NEET PG Counselling 2018

After conducting the counselling, seat allotment is done for the candidates based on the choices filled by them, availability of seats and All India Rank.

Step 7: Reporting at Allotted Colleges

This is the final step of the NEET PG counselling 2018 process. Candidates have to download the allotment letter and must report at the allotted institutes along with the relevant documents and fee.

Documents Required During NEET-PG 2018 Counselling Process

  • High school/Higher Secondary Certificate/Birth certificate as proof of Birth date

  • Mark sheet of MBBS/BDS 1, 2 and 3 Professional examinations

  • NEET PG 2018 Admit card

  • NEET PG Result

  • MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate

  • The Permanent/Provisional registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC). The provisional registration certificate is applicable only for the candidates who are likely to complete the internship on or before March 31, 2018

  • Institute completion certificate or the certificate from the head of the institution stating that candidate has completed the internship by March 31, 2018

  • Identification proofs to the allotted colleges – Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving license, Aadhaar card
