The National Board of Examination and MCC released the NEET PG Cutoff 2023 on March 14, 2023. The cutoff varied based on the candidate’s category and the courses they opted for. The cutoff marks for the General category was 291 and for SC/ ST/ OBC categories was 257. NEET PG 2023 Cutoff are the minimum marks required by an individual to qualify for admission in MS, MD, and other PG medical courses at India’s prestigious medical institutes. NEET PG Cutoff 2024 is expected to be out in August 2024.

MCC made a major update in the qualifying percentile of NEET PG 2023 by reducing it to zero. This significant decision was taken following IMA’a request to reduce the 30% cutoff. The reduction of the qualifying percentile to zero means candidates irrespective of the candidate’s category were eligible for counselling without any fixed qualifying cutoff.

Category-wise NEET PG Cutoff 2023

NEET PG 2023 cutoff was published for 50% of AIQ and 50% of state quota seats after each counselling round. For the AIQ seats, MCC has updated the cutoffs while state counselling bodies released cutoffs for state quota seats. The National Board of Education (NBE) shares NEET PG qualifying cutoff marks for various categories after the result declaration on their website.
