Filling out NEET application form could be a draining task, especially for first-timers.   • Step 1. Registration Process: Candidates will have to register on the official website of NTA i.e. neet.ntaonline.in
  • Step 2. Fill out the Application Form: After NEET 2024 registration, candidates will be directed to the portal where they have to fill out basic details (Personal and Educational). After filling out the NEET UG application form 2024, click on the submit button.
  • Step 3. Upload Documents: Mandatory documents like class 10 and class 12 passing certificates, mark sheets, category certificates, valid ID proof and other important documents must be uploaded by applicants in the "documents to be Uploaded" section.
  • Step 4. Application Fee Payment: The second last step is the most crucial step during the process of filling of NEET application form. After filling out basic details and uploading important documents, candidates must pay the application fee. To successfully complete the NEET application process for 2024, candidates must follow the eligibility criteria established by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The key eligibility criteria for NTA NEET 2024 application are as follows:

  1. Uploading Scanned Images and Documents

Once all the details in the NEET application form 2024 is filled, students need to upload scanned copies of the signature and photograph as specified. Applicants have to click on 'upload documents'. Here are the documents that need be uploaded.

Passport photo: Aspirants must click a passport-size photo with a white background comprises name of the students and the date of photograph below the image. The size of the file has to range between 10kb to 200kb in JPEG format.

Signature: Students must use a black ink pen and jot down their signature on a white paper. The file needs to be scanned and its size must be between 4kb to 30kb in JPG format.

Postcard size photograph: Students are required to upload a postcard size photograph in the designated JPG format with size ranging between 10kb to 200kb.

Left-hand thumb impression: Aspirants should upload a digital image of the left-hand thumb impression imprinted on a white paper with blue ink. It should be in JPG format and the size must be between 10kb to 200kb.

  1. NEET 2024 Application Fee Payment

As soon as the uploading of documents is done based on specifications, the option to pay the NEET application form 2024 fee will pop-up on the screen. Click on 'pay examination fee'. It has to be paid in online mode only. NEET 2024 registration form fee is different for general, EWS, and OBC/ST/SC categories.

  • Visit the Official Website of Online Photo Editor: Check out certain websites like iloveMG or image resizer. Editing images in online mode is comparatively easier than using MS Paint.

  • Upload Image on the Image Resizing Website: The display page of the online photo editing websites will have a button named Upload Image or Select Image or Upload documents. Click on that button to upload the file for further process of resizing.

  • Select Image from File Manager: After clicking on the button described above, candidates will have to choose the image from the file manager of their phones or laptops. Is it necessary to upload scanned photographs with the candidate's name or photographs taking date?

If I do not appear in the exam, will the application fee be refunded?

No, it will not be refunded. The application fee is a one-time transaction that candidates make to the official authorities. Under no circumstances, the amount paid by the students will be refunded. In exception cases, students can reach out to the authorities beforehand.

I typed my name incorrectly in the NEET 2024 registration form. Can I change it?

No, you cannot. In stage 2 of the NTA NEET 2024 application process, you’ll get another chance to make changes in some fields but name is not included in the same. So, make sure you get all the basic details correct in the first go itself. 

I do not have an internet connection. Can I apply for NEET 2024 in offline mode?

Unfortunately, No. The NTA does not allow any offline mode application submissions. Students have to submit the applications online on the official website. As an alternate choice, one can visit a cyber cafe and easily fill out their details without any hassles.

How can I get my NEET candidate login 2024?

Once you register on the official website of NEET with all the information, you’ll receive a candidate login instantly. So, make sure to enter your right email ID and phone number. All the latest update and information will be sent to candidates on their registered devices.

Will I receive any receipt as proof of successful fee payment?

Once a candidate submits the requisite fees, a confirmation page will open on the screen. It will comprise transaction details at the bottom. The details will include transaction ID and proof of payment made. One can take a printout or a photo of the same. No other receipt will be given as confirmation.

What can I do if my payment for the NEET application form fails?

In such cases, students have to re-register for the same and then try paying the amount. In case any access funds have been debited, the same will be refunded within a few days.
