TS ECET Result 2026 - Tie Breaking Rule

TSCHE adopts a rule to decide the students' ranks if two or more students in the TS ECET 2026 exam obtain the same score.

For Engineering

• Higher scores will be awarded for the engineering course.
• Applicants with higher Mathematics scores will receive greater marks if there is still a tie.
• Students with higher Physics scores will receive higher marks if a tie still exists.
• Students with identical grades in all four subjects will be bracketed to award ranks, and age will be taken into consideration when it is time for admission if a tie still exists. Students of a higher age will be given preference.

For B.Sc (Mathematics)

• Students with higher marks in Mathematics will receive greater marks.
• If the tie persists, the student with a higher percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie still exists, the older applicant will be granted a higher rank.

For Pharmacy

• Students who will have a higher percentage of scores/marks obtained in the TS ECET 2026 exam will be given a higher rank.
• If there is a tie, the older student will receive a higher rank.
