UPES DAT 2021 Detailed Counselling Process
The UPES DAT 2021 counselling is conducted once the result of UPES DAT 2021 is released by UPES. The counselling of UPES DAT 2021is going to be conducted for both B.Des/BFA and M.Des that includes Interview and Portfolio Presentation. Below is the detailed counselling process for UPES DAT 2021.
Counselling for B.Des/BFA
Only qualified candidates are called in UPES DAT 2021 counselling. To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to register themselves online.
As per the availability, slots are assigned to the qualified candidates.
In counselling, candidates have to go through Personal Interview and Presentation of Work Portfolio.
Portfolio Requirements for B.Des/BFA candidates-
Candidates have to carry their sketches drawn by them using pencil, pen, colour markers or any other instrument.
Candidates can make drawings of nature, symbolic designs, experimental art, nature etc.
Candidates can get the pictures/images clicked by them to enhance their chances of selection.
If candidates have undertaken any experimentation on Digital media, implying use of 2-D or 3-D digital media, tools and techniques for drawing, sketching and rendering, they can also carry those samples to expresses their creativity skills.
Candidates can also showcase their talent by presenting Physical Model or Prototype mode by using Clay, Plastic, Wood, Card Board etc.
Counselling for M.Des
Candidates qualifying in UPES DAT 2020 are called for counselling process. To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to register themselves online.
As part of the counselling process, slots are assigned to candidates according to the availability of seats.
In counselling, candidates have to go through Personal Interview and Presentation of Work Portfolio.
Portfolio Requirements for M.Des candidates-
Candidates must carry sketching and rendering, an assortment of drawing that is hand-drawn by using various sorts of techniques and media, inclusive of colour markers and colour pencils.
Candidates can also carry any physical model or prototype made by using fabrication or construction work.
Any sort of digital work (software) 2 dimensional, 3 dimensional such as drawing, sketching and rendering using digital media, tools and techniques can be submitted by the candidates.
