The portfolio requirements for both UPES DAT for B.Des and M.Des have been mentioned below:
Candidates must bring their own hand-drawn pieces by using pencils, colour markers, charcoal, natural dyes and so on. These can be any object used in everyday life, natural, experimental or symbolic.
Candidates may exhibit their photography skills by presenting pictures that they have clicked.
In case the candidate has experimented their creativity on digital media - Drawing, sketching, and rendering using digital media, tools and techniques (2 dimensional, 3 dimensional), they can exhibit that as well.
Any kind of physical model or prototype made of clay, wood, plastic, cardboard, etc. may also be showcased.
In case, you do not have the ones mentioned above, you can showcase anything that depicts your taste or your creativity.
Candidates who have certificates Certificates of Competitions/any special mention – for example, class competitions etc., can freely produce the same on the portfolio presentation round.
