The eligibility criteria of UPES DAT 2018 is specified by the exam conducting authority. The UPES DAT 2018 eligibility norms are specified in terms of age and academic qualification. Candidates willing to apply for UPES DAT 2018 must carefully read the UPES DAT 2018 eligibility criteria. Candidates not satisfying the UPES DAT 2018 eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam. The detailed course-wise UPES DAT 2018 eligibility criteria is mentioned below:
Bachelor of Design (B.Des)
To be eligible, candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1996 can apply for admission only.
The date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate is considered authentic.
Candidates should have minimum 50% marks in class 10 and 12 in any stream.
Candidates can also apply through Board merit and JEE Main / UCEED.
For Board Merit:
Candidates should have minimum 65% marks in class 10 and 12 in any stream.
For JEE Main/UCEED:
Candidates should have minimum 50% marks in class 10 and 12 with valid JEE Main / UCEED scores.
Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)
Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1996 are eligible to apply for admission.
The date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate is taken as authentic.
Master of Design (M.Des)
Candidate should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in class 10 and 12.
Candidate should have pursued a 4-year course with at least 50% marks in B.Des, B. Tech, BE in any discipline, B. Arch or BFA.
