Want to know more about XAT
To gain admission to a leading MBA college via XAT in 2025, your target should be 35–40 marks, which is 95–99+ percentile. For colleges such as XLRI, BM, and HRM courses, set a percentile of over 96. Cutoffs can vary slightly every year, so check official websites frequently and keep track of previous trends and announcements for the right benchmarks and changes.
Though XLRI mostly looks at the overall and sectional percentiles, there may be some relaxation for reserved categories. But for XLRI, as such, OBC candidates are usually treated on the general category cutoffs. Some other colleges that accept XAT scores may have different cutoffs for different categories.
The actual XAT 2025 cutoffs were released during the last week of January 2025, after the declaration of XAT 2025 results. Look out for cutoffs being made public on XLRI's official website. Keep yourself updated by visiting the official site and authentic MBA portals, as cutoffs differ across courses and categories depending on trends for the current year and previous year patterns.
According to previous trends, to be shortlisted for XLRI Jamshedpur via XAT 2025, you generally must achieve sectional cut-offs: about the 75+ percentile for Quantitative Ability, 70+ for Verbal Ability, and 72+ for Decision Making. XAT cutoffs are generally higher for BM programs compared to HRM, but these do change slightly every year.
According to previous trends, if you are targeting XLRI Jamshedpur through XAT 2025, you must aim for a percentile of approximately 95+ for the Human Resource Management (HRM) program and 96–98+ for the Business Management (BM) program. The cutoff can be slightly different depending on gender, educational background, and category.
