AIBE (XV) 2020 Application Form

AIBE application process for the year 2020 is expected to commence during the month of June. The candidates can start filling the AIBE 2020 application form as and when it is released on the official website. AIBE (All India Bar Examination) is conducted by the Bar Council of India for candidates who have passed the law degree and want to practice. The candidates who qualify AIBE will receive the Certificate of Practice from the Bar Council of India. It is an open book exam which is expected to take place during the first week of September 2020. Since it is an open book exam, candidates can carry as many bare acts as they want but it is also important to read the bare acts beforehand so that they do not get confused with tricky questions. Being thorough with the bare act will help candidates attempt questions easily and in a timely manner.

AIBE XV will be conducted in more than 40 cities across India and it will be published in 11 languages. There will be no negative marking in AIBE XV (15). AIBE tests a candidate’s skill and knowledge to practise law professionally in India. The exam will have multiple-choice questions. 

AIBE XV Application Form 2020 will be available in both online and offline modes. The last date of submitting online registration is not yet released. The examination that is scheduled to be conducted September (Tentative). As part of the AIBE application process 2020, candidates have to provide all the necessary details to apply for the exam.

  • Category certificate (if applicable),

  • Disability certificate (if applicable)

How to Fill AIBE 2020 Application Form

Interested students can visit the official website of AIBE for registering themselves and submitting the application form for AIBE 2020 which will be available in the month of June (expected). AIBE 2020 is scheduled to take place in the September month (tentative) for those who want to obtain a “Certificate of Practice” for the Legal Profession.

The applicants are advised to go through the AIBE 2020 eligibility criteria before they submit their application form for AIBE 2020 because if the applicants do not satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria laid down by the governing body, their AIBE XV application form will be rejected which will lead to the cancellation of their candidature.

The applicants must also keep in mind to cross-check all the details they provide in the AIBE 2020 application form in addition to reading the guidelines provided by the Bar Council of India so as to avoid any kind of unnecessary hassle. The certificates and documents uploaded by the applicants must bear the stamp of the competent authorities and once the submission of the AIBE 2020 application form is complete, the applicants must take a printout of the same which will come in handy during future correspondence.

Provided below is the detailed step-wise application process for AIBE 2020.

Step-Wise Application Process for AIBE 2020

The step-wise AIBE 2020 application process will guide the applicants regarding how to fill up the AIBE 2020 application form.

Step 1: Before the applicants start filling up the AIBE 2020 application form, they must keep the following documents handy:

  • Advocate Id Card (If issued by the State Bar Council)

  • Category Certificate( If applicable)

  • Disability Certificate (If applicable)    

  • Enrolment Certificate

  • Scanned signature and photo

Step 2: The applicants have to visit the official All India Bar Examination website (AIBE) and click on the “Register Here” button available on the home page.

Step 3: In this step, the applicants have to fill up the AIBE 2020 registration form available on the official website and upload all the requisite documents. Once the applicants are over with filling up their details and uploading their documents, they have to click on the “Save” button which will be available at the extreme bottom of the page. Once all the details and documents are submitted by the applicants, they will receive a Registration Number and Password either on their email address or registered mobile number.

Note: The applicants must put their enrolment number with the State code as mentioned on their Enrolment Certificate.

Step 4: After the submission of the details, the applicants have to check their email Id or mobile to access their Registration Number and Password. The applicants are suggested to note down the details for future reference.

Step 5: Once the applicants have access to their Registration Number and Password, they will have to visit the official AIBE website again and click on the “Login Here” button available on the home page.

Step 6: Once the applicants click on the login link, they will be redirected to a page where they have to enter their Registration Number and Password. After filling in the requisite details, the applicants have to click on the “Login” button.

Step 7: After the applicants click on the “Login” button, they will be taken to a new page which will contain the registration details of the applicants. Once the registration details are visible, the applicants have to click on the “Print Challan” button following which they have to take a printout of the same by using the command “Control+P”.

Step 8: After taking out a printed copy of the challan, the applicants have to visit their nearest SBI branch within 24 hours for payment. The applicants must keep in mind that they can only pay through the SBI Bank Challan. The applicants must keep a signed copy of the challan having the seal and sign of the Bank authorities with them post-payment completion.

Step 9: After the applicants are done with the payment process, they will have to visit the official AIBE website again using their Registration Number and Password which they received after the registration step. The applicants will be able to view their registration details 24 hours after making the payment in the Bank.

Step 10: In this step, the applicants have to click on the “Upload Challan” and “Details” button which will be available on the “Registration Details” page.

Step 11: In this step, the applicants have to upload their Challan followed by entering the journal number, branch code and date of Challan mentioned in the Challan copy. Once it is done, they will be required to click on the “Submit” button.

Step 12: Once the Challan details are entered, the applicants have to go back to the registration details page for taking out a print copy of the same for future reference.

Step 13: This is the final step where the applicants have to cross-check all the details such as signature, photo etc which they have uploaded on the AIBE 2020 application form. In case of any error in the application form of AIBE 2020, the applicants have to notify the concerned authorities at the earliest via the helpline numbers or email provided below. The applicants must not send a hard copy of the AIBE 2020 application form or any other documents, in case of any discrepancy, to the Bar Council of India.

AIBE 2020 Application Fee

Application fees can only be deposited through bank challan of SBI. No other payment mode will be accepted. Candidates can make the payment after 24 hours of registration.
