AP PGECET 2020 results have been released on October 23, 2020. The result will contain the marks and rank scored by the candidates in the entrance exam. • Visit the official website of AP PGECET 2020.

• Click on the link 'View Results' available on the homepage of AP PGECET 2020 website.

• Next, you have to enter the Registration number, and PGECET Hall Ticket No. 

• Click on 'View Result' tab after entering the required details.

• The result of AP PGECET 2020 will appear on your screen.

• Download the result, take a print out of the same and save it on your computer for future use.

AP PGECET Merit List 2020

AP PGECET Merit list 2020 is expected to be released in the month of July 2020 in online PDF format. The merit list will be prepared for admissions to the universities and colleges accepting AP PGECET scores. The merit list of AP PGECET 2020 will also specify the course-wise cut-off in AP PGECET entrance exam.

Tie-breaker in AP PGECET 2020 Merit List

• When two or more candidates obtain equal marks in AP PGECET entrance examination, it leads to a tie in the AP PGECET 2020 merit list and result.  

• In such a case, the candidates with equal marks cannot be given the same merit. Therefore, the tie needs to be broken in the AP PGECET merit list and it is done in the same way that is administered by Andhra University.

• Candidates with more marks in qualifying degree examination will be given more preference over the other candidate, in the case of equal marks scored in AP PGECET entrance exam.

• In the case of candidates who have secured equal marks in the qualifying degree examination too, the tie will be broken by giving preference to candidates older in age.

• If the candidates are of the same age, then the tie-in AP PGECET merit list 2020 will be broken by drawing of lots.

• Name of the Candidate

• Father’s Name

• AP PGECET 2020 rank along with the percentile and score obtained by the candidate

Steps to Download AP PGECET 2020 Rank Card

• Visit the official website of AP PGECET 2020 (https://sche.ap.gov.in/PGECET/PGECET/PGECET_HomePage.aspx)

• Click on the 'Rank Card' link flashing on the homepage.

• A new page will open where you will be required to fill in some information such as Registration Number, PGECET Hall Ticket No, and Date of Birth.

• After filling the details, click on 'View Rank Card'.

• The rank card will be displayed on your screen.

• Download and keep a printout of the same for the purpose of admission.

Important Information

• The result of AP PGECET 2020 will be released with respect to the branch for which the candidate had appeared.

• AP PGECET 2020 Rank Card will be available separately on the home page. Candidates have to download the AP PGECET 2020 Rank Card separately for use at the counselling and seat allotment stages.

• AP PGECET 2020 Score will be calculated using a formula that can be found on the official website.

• AP PGECET 2020 Score will be used for admission and in declaring cut-offs for counselling and admission process.

• AP PGECET 2020 Percentile is the percentage of people behind a candidate (as per rank) in AP PGECET 2020 exam.

• The lower the candidate's rank, the higher will be the percentile. The first rank holder (toppers) percentile is considered to be 100 and the last rank holders percentile is 0.

AP PGECET Cut-off 2020

AP PGECET cut-off 2020 will be different for qualifying the entrance test and for admissions. The cut-off for qualifying the exam will be 25% of the total marks i.e. 30 marks. This will not be applicable to the SC/ST candidates. However, this cut-off will be used only for qualifying the entrance test and the cut-off for admission process will be different and higher, depending on the overall result. AP PGECET 2020 cut-off for admissions will be announced prior to AP PGECET 2020 counselling.

What After AP PGECET 2020 Result Declaration?

After the AP PGECET 2020 result is declared, the APSCHE officials will conduct the AP PGECET 2020 counselling process for those candidates who will qualify the entrance examination as well as the GATE 2020 qualified candidates. The candidates, however, have to register themselves for the PGECET counselling process as well as pay the counselling fee to be eligible to take part in the counselling rounds of AP PGECET 2020.
