About AP PGECET 2026 Application Form (OUT)

The AP PGECET application form 2026 is available on the official portal. The last date to complete the submission without a late fee is March 6, 2026. Those who completed B.Tech/ B.Pharm from an accredited college/ institute with at least 50% (45% for SC/ ST) are eligible to apply for the relevant programme. Applicants in the final semester can also send their AP PGECET forms, provided they qualify in the last qualifying degree examination.

The main stages of the application process include the fee payment, checking the payment status, filling out the form, submitting it, and taking a printout. Steps to Fill Application Form of AP PGECET 2026

The application process of the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) consists of 4 main steps, which have been explained in the form of a flow chart below.

Step 1 - Payment of Registration Fee

The first step in filling out the form is to pay the application fee according to the candidate's category. The payment of the application fee can be done via online or offline mode. The following information should be provided before payment: -

• Candidate’s Name
• Name of Candidate's Father
• Name of Candidate's Mother
• Date of Birth
• Valid Mobile No
• Alternative Mobile Number
• Valid Email ID
• Category
• Qualifying Degree
• Specialisation in Qualifying Degree
• Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket No.

Mode of Payment

AP Online by Cash:

• Aspirants choosing the AP Online option must select the nearest AP Online centre. They will have to provide mandatory details such as Hall Ticket, Number of the Qualifying Examination, Name of the Candidate, Father’s Name,  Date of Birth, and Mobile number.
• After that, a receipt is given to the candidate containing a Payment ID.
• This ID will be used as a login credential while filling out the form.

Online Mode:

• Aspirants choosing this option are recommended to go through the Instruction Booklet carefully.
• After that, they have to click on the “Make Payment’ tab through Credit Card/Debit Card/ Net banking and proceed by filling in the required details. Then, the candidate will be redirected to the Payment Gateway site.
• After successful payment, ‘Payment ID’ is generated. Students must note down the ID and proceed to the form-filling process.

Step 2 - Know your application status

Aspirants can check their application status of AP PGECET 2026 by entering their credentials, like qualifying degree exam hall ticket number and registered mobile number

Step 3 - Fill Up AP PGECET Application Form 2026

• After making the payment for the application, aspirants can go ahead and fill out the AP PGECET application form.

• Students should log in to the online application portal using their transaction ID/Application Number that was generated at the time of payment.

• Before proceeding to fill out the form, given below are details that must be provided:

  • Payment Reference ID

  • Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No.

  • Mobile No.

  • DOB

• After entering all the mandatory details given above, click on the ‘Proceed to Fill Application’ tab.

• After that, the complete application form will appear. aspirants will have to provide all the personal details such as Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Aadhaar Card No., Birth District, Birth State, Ration Card No., Caste Category, Special Reservation Category, Minority/ Non- Minority, Annual Income, Bank Details, Address and Local Area and Academic Details, Test Centre preference.

• Then, aspirants will have to upload a scanned copy of their photograph and signature in the prescribed format and size.

Submission of Application Form

• Once the entire process is completed successfully, the applicant will be given the following options:

Save and Preview/Submit

• After filling in all the requisite data and particulars, read the declaration at the end of the page and select the checkbox if you are filling out the online application form.

• Then, click on the "Save" tab to save the data. If you are sure that all entered data is correct, then you can Preview/ submit the online application.

Modify and Confirm/Freeze

• After the AP PGECET Application Form 2026 is submitted, the Modify and Confirm/ Freeze option pops up.

• Modify option enables the applicants to review the entire application to correct errors if any.

• Confirm/ Freeze tab should be clicked to finally apply. The data in the application is frozen, and no more editing is allowed.

Once the AP PGECET application form is filled out, it is suggested that a preview be done. The page will display the AP PGECET registration ID once the application form is filled.

Step 4 - Print AP PGECET Application Form After Submission

The applicant must note down the AP PGECET Registration ID. This ID will be used in future processes.

AP PGECET 2026 Application Form Correction

AP PGECET 2026 application form corrections allow applicants to fix mistakes made during online form submission, but only within a specific time window announced by APSCHE. 

Some key points related to AP PGECET form editing include:

• Category-1 items cannot be edited by the applicant. Applicants have to send a written request with valid documents to the Convener through email. 
• Category-2 items can be changed directly online during the permitted correction period. 
• For Category-1 changes like name, photograph, signature, date of birth, qualifying hall ticket number, etc., can be done. Scanned original documents must be submitted for verification.
• Category-2 corrections include study details, local area status, Aadhaar details, gender, year of qualifying exam, income details, and other editable fields. 
• The Convener will approve the changes only after validating the requested modifications. This process ensures that information submitted by the applicants remains accurate and verified.

• Step 1: Go to the official website by clicking on the link (A link to this page will be provided above)
• Step 2: Enter your Payment Reference ID, Registration Number, Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket No, Phone Number, and Date of Birth
• Step 3: Click the "Continue to Complete Application" button
• Step 4: Make the necessary adjustments and save it
• Step 5: Applicants must print a copy of the amendments made to the application
