While according to the ATMA exam pattern, each of the 3 sections in the ATMA exam is further divided into 2 parts each, the scorecard does not have a part-wise division of scores. The section-wise scaled scores are for Verbal Skills, Quantitative Skills, and Analytical Reasoning only and are not divided into I and II parts, as in the ATMA exam.

The ATMA result 2026 and score of a candidate are calculated based on the ATMA 2026 marking scheme. The ATMA score cut-offs in top MBA colleges in India range from 70 to 95 percentile. MBA colleges that are autonomous, University B-schools offering MBA degrees or private PGDM colleges accept ATMA scores. Further, the qualifying mark in ATMA is 50%. ATMA score is valid for one year from the particular exam date.
ATMA percentile indicates a particular percentage of candidates among those taking the exam and scoring below the candidate in that category. For example, if a candidate has scored 53%, this means that 53% of candidates who have appeared in ATMA 2026 scored below him/her. ATMA percentile score is the most important determinant that governs one's admission to management institutions compared to others who have appeared in the exam.
After the declaration of the ATMA 2026 result, candidates can begin the process of admission to colleges on the basis of their scores in the ATMA exam. There are over 200 MBA colleges in India where ATMA scores are accepted for admission. Candidates are required to have scored qualifying marks in the ATMA exam to be eligible to participate in the MBA admission process of the ATMA participating colleges.
Candidates are shortlisted for admission to ATMA-participating colleges based on their scores in the ATMA entrance exam. Candidates who have registered for the ATMA exam are allowed to apply to five colleges when they fill out the ATMA Application Form. A candidate's ATMA scores are automatically sent to the colleges selected by the candidate.
If any candidate wishes to apply for admission to any more colleges through their ATMA scores, they must apply directly to the college of their choice. However, an additional application fee of Rs. 100 is applicable per college. This fee must be paid through a Demand Draft (DD).

Different participating institutes release their own ATMA cut-off in order to shortlist candidates for the selection process, after the declaration of the AIMS ATMA 2026 result.
