The entrance exam this year was on predictable lines and did not throw any element of surprise. Almost 80% questions in all 3 sections were of easy to moderate difficulty level and were very direct.

For a well-prepared student, attempting 130 to 140 wouldn't have been very difficult and at an accuracy of 85 to 90% score of 125 is good for getting admission in top 5 colleges of Karnataka.

For getting Computer Science and Electronics in the top participating colleges like R.V. College of Engineering (RVCE) and MSRIT Bangalore, a score of 140 is required and this will result in a rank of under 500.

At a score of 100, one can expect a rank around 6000, which is also a decent rank for getting admission in the some of the popular engineering colleges of Karnataka that accept COMEDK score.

While one can even expect a call from some of the other colleges at a score of 80, which will get a rank of 12000.

In Maths section, the questions were majorly from algebra, functions, limits and continuity, trigonometry, calculus, permutation combination, and probability.

This section had many questions, which were from textbook so getting a score of 45 plus in this section is not very difficult.

In Chemistry, there were many questions from inorganic chemistry, bonding and even numerical based questions were there. A score of 38 to 40 is a decent score in this section.

While Physics section was also of moderate difficulty level, major topics were electrostatics, oscillations, thermodynamics, motion, etc.

A score of 40 is achievable in this section for anyone who has attempted around 50 questions at 85% accuracy.
