JEST 2024 important topics: JEST is a national-level entrance examination which is conducted by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) for admissions into PhD and Ph.D. integrated courses. It is conducted for admission in Physics/ Neuroscience/ Theoretical Computer Science or Computational Biology courses only. Every year thousands of students appear in the JEST examination. The JEST 2024 exam dates have been released. JEST 2024 exam will be conducted on 3 March, 2024. 

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram (IIST) is the conducting authority of the JEST 2024 exam. All the candidates willing to appear for the entrance exam must also check the JEST 2024 syllabus. The JEST Syllabus 2024 includes Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science subjects. JEST Previous Years Exam Analysis

JEST 2023 was held on March 26, 2023. The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate. There was slight change in the exam pattern last year. There were three sections - Part A, B and C. The difficulty level of all the sections were moderate to difficult. 

The qualifying marks for JEST Ph.D. integrated 2019 were 35 and the qualifying marks for the JEST Ph.D. course were 32. As per the past five years of analysis, the pattern of the JEST examination keeps changing from time to time. In JEST 2016 the paper was divided into two sections and JEST 2015 had only one section. However, since 2017, the JEST examination has been divided into 3 sections.

In JEST 2019, a total of 12 out of 50 were asked from the Mathematical Physics section. It is an important section for JEST 2024. However, all the topics of the JEST syllabus are equally important. Candidates who are planning to appear in JEST 2024 must go through the sample papers of previous years and check important points and formulas of important topics before appearing for the examination.
