JEST Previous years Exam Analysis

The qualifying marks for JEST Ph.D. integrated 2019 were 35 and the qualifying marks for the JEST Ph.D. course were 32. As per the past five years of analysis, the pattern of the JEST examination keeps changing from time to time. In JEST 2016 the paper was divided into two sections and JEST 2015 had only one section. However, since 2017, JEST examination is being divided into 3 sections.

In JEST 2019, a total of 12 out of 50 were asked from the Mathematical Physics section. It is an important section for JEST 2020. However, all the topics of the JEST syllabus are equally important. Candidates who are planning to appear in JEST 2020 must go through the sample papers of previous years and check important points and formulas of important topics before appearing for the examination.
