The JEST 2020 application process began from 11th November 2019 onwards and the last date to submit the online application of JEST 2020 was 21st December 2019. The application process for JEST exam is usually conducted from November to December each year and applications for JEST- 2020 could be submitted in online mode only. For filling the application form, candidates were required to visit the official website of the entrance exam, i.e. and fill all the details mentioned. Before filling the JEST 2020 application form, it was mandatory to check the eligibility criteria of JEST 2020 before applying for the exam as the application forms for ineligible candidates were to be rejected.

While filling the JEST 2020 application form, candidates filled their correct details and made the payment of required application fee through online mode. The application fee of JEST 2020 was Rs 300 for General candidates and Rs 150 for SC/ST candidates, which was paid by using debit card/credit card/net-banking. Payment by any other mode was not be accepted and the application fee once paid was not refunded.

Step by Step Process to Apply for JEST 2020

The following steps were used by the JEST applicants to apply for JEST 2020 exam:

Step 1: JEST 2020 Registration

For filling the JEST 2020 application form, candidates are required to provide their Name, Email ID, Password, and Date of Birth. After providing all the details in the application form, candidates will receive an e-mail which will have account information after registering with a valid E-mail-ID. The Email-ID should be active and must not be changed during this period. Applicants must log in to the created account, complete the application form and after submission of the form, a unique submission number will be sent to candidates’ Email-ID.

Step 2: Filling up JEST 2020 Application Form

The next step is of the JEST 2020 application process, is to fill in the details in the JEST 2020 application form. After verification of candidates’ E-mail ID, candidates will be required to fill the following details such as:

  • Candidate’s name

  • Gender

  • Date of birth details

  • Qualifying exam

  • Address

  • Details of parents/guardians

  • Programme preference

  • Test centre preference

  • Educational qualification

  • Alternate mobile number

  • Year of passing

  • College preference

Step 3: Uploading Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature

After filling all the details, applicants are required to upload scanned copies of their photograph and signature with their Joint Entrance Screening Test application form. Applicants must ensure to check all the properties of these image files before uploading. Before uploading photo and signature files, applicants must ensure to use file names in alphabets, underscores, and numbers only. Special characters such as spaces, (, #, &, punctuation, etc., should not be used in filenames.

Step 4: Payment of JEST 2020 Application Fee

As a part of the application process, applicants are required to pay the application fee for JEST exam in online mode via Debit card/Credit card and Net-banking. It must be noted that any other mode of payment will not be accepted.

Step 5: Submit & Print JEST 2020 Application Form

After successful completion of the application form, applicants will have to click on the ‘Submit’ button to fulfill the application process for JEST exam. After submitting the form, applicants will receive an E-mail on their registered email address containing their “application data after final submission containing Unique Submission Number and filled in data”. Applicants must download and save the application form for further correspondence with the JEST authority. In case, applicants do not receive such an E-mail after submission of the JEST application form and completing e-payment of JEST application fee then they must contact JEST authorities immediately.
