The NATA 2020 result cum scorecard is expected to be declared in the month of July, for the exam that is going to be conducted during the first week of July 2020 (tentative dates), by the Council of Architecture (COA) on the official website of NATA i.e. www.nata.in. Candidates can check their results on the website using their NATA candidate ID and Password. Those who appear for the exam will also receive the results of NATA 2020 on their registered email IDs.
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2020 First Test is going to be conducted in the month of April 2020 (tentative) and the second test is gojn going to be conducted on July 2020 (expected dates) by the Council of Architecture (COA) for admissions to 5-year architecture programmes. Candidates can now download and print their respective NATA 2020 scorecards. NATA 2020 scores will be valid only for one year.
The NATA 2020 result will be available in three formats
Marks obtained out of 200 and in each section.
Merit listing: Based on marks and tie-breaking rules.
Percentile score based on the merit listing.
Rules on which the NATA 2020 qualifying marks are based
Candidate should score at least 25% in MCQ portion (30 out of 120)
Candidate should score at least 25% in Drawing portion (20 out of 80)
Overall qualifying marks (out of 200) should be based on post-exam statistics and at the discretion of the Council.
Note: Candidates fulfilling all the above-stated conditions will be considered qualified.
As per COA guidelines, scoring 40% or more marks in NATA exam is necessary for candidates to be declared qualified. They must obtain at least 80 marks out of 200. However, the NATA participating colleges publish their individual merit lists on the basis of candidates' ranks.
Participating Institutes or other institutes providing B.Arch programme will issue their own individual cut-offs on the basis of NATA scores.
NATA 2020 cut-off prepared by the institutes will be based on the criteria of marks prescribed by the COA, the minimum marks required for admission in the particular institute and number of seats available in the institutes, etc.
Candidates scoring less than prescribed NATA cut-off 2020 in the entrance exam will not be able to take admission in the participating institute.

Click on the link available to access the result.
Provide the required login credentials to open the NATA Result page.
Click on the 'Submit’ tab to view the 'NATA 2020 Result'.
After submitting, NATA 2020 result will be displayed on the system.
Download the NATA 2020 result and take a printout of it for future use.
The NATA 2020 scorecard will have the following information:
The name of the candidate.
The Application number of the candidate.
The candidate’s roll number.
The candidate’s Date of Birth.
The gender of the candidate.
Paper-wise marks obtained by the candidates.
The aggregate score secured by the candidates.
The candidate’s qualifying status.
The qualified candidates can download their NATA 2020 scorecard from the official NATA portal.
NATA 2020 scorecard will be valid for one academic year only.
It is compulsory for every qualified candidate to carry NATA scorecard at the time of admissions.
After the NATA 2020 results are declared, the concerned authorities, i.e COA will prepare the NATA 2020 Merit List which will be based on the candidate’s performance in NATA 2020 paper I and paper II. The candidates need to score a minimum of 25% marks in both the papers separately to make a cut into the NATA 2020 merit list. In addition to scoring the minimum percentile marks, the candidates must also score the minimum combined NATA 2020 cutoff marks if they want their names to be present in the NATA 2020 merit list. There will be a tie-breaker method in case two or more candidates score the same marks in the NATA 2020 entrance examination.
In case two or more candidates are stranded on the same marks, the concerned authorities will deploy a tie-breaker method which will determine the rank of the candidate/s whose name will be in the NATA 2020 merit list.
NATA 2020 tie-breaking method is explained below:
The overall marks secured by the candidates in the mathematics section.
Fewer wrong attempts in the NATA 2020 mathematics section.
The overall marks scored by the candidates in general aptitude section.
Fewer wrong answers in the general aptitude section.
The candidate who was born earlier will be given preference on the basis of Date of Birth.
Note: The candidates will be allotted the same rank if the tie still exists after employing the above-mentioned NATA 2020 tie-breaker methods.
The eligible candidates will have to apply for NATA 2020 counselling process through the official website of NATA. Through the NATA 2020 counselling process, the qualified candidates will be able to secure a seat in the NATA 2020 participating colleges (both Government and Private) offering 5-year B.Arch programme. The application form will be submitted once the candidates pay the required fee for the NATA 2020 counselling process. The candidates can submit their preferences and choices through the NATA 2020 counselling process application form.

Council of Architecture (COA) will conduct a common NATA 2020 counselling process for B.Arch admission in NATA 2020 participating institutes.
Under the common NATA 2020 counselling process, the candidates can apply for multiple participating institutes through a single window.
The vacant seats after the counselling process get over will be allotted to students belonging to different states.
