How to Apply for NATA 2020

The application process of NATA 2020 is expected to begin in the month of January, most probably by the third week in 2020. The last date to submit the NATA 2020 application form (for the first test) will be announced soon with the official NATA 2020 notification. The application form of NATA 2020 will be available in online mode and applicants have to visit the official website of the exam conducting authority to fill the NATA application form.

The NATA 2020 application form includes NATA registration, document uploading, and application fee payment. In order to complete the NATA application process, applicants will have to pay NATA application fee via Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking.

Note: Applicants will have to fill and submit the NATA application form online, as there is no provision to send the NATA application form by post or any other offline method.

Steps to Fill NATA Application Form 2020

Step I: NATA Registration

  • Applicants will first have to visit the official website of NATA to register themselves.

  • Enter the details such as name, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Postal address and Date of birth.

  • After entering the details, A 7-digit numeric application number will be generated.

  • Create a password for further login purposes.

Step II: Documents Uploading

After registering, applicants will have to upload the necessary documents like:

Photograph:

Applicants will have to upload their recent Passport size Photograph as per the specifications.

Signature:

Applicants will have to upload their scanned Signature in the required format given below.

Left Thumb Impression (LTI):

The impression should be very clear. It should not be faded nor submerged with ink.

Step III: Application Fee Payment

  • This is the last step of NATA 2020 application process. To complete the procedure, applicants will have to pay the NATA 2020 application fee of INR 1800/- if they belong to General category. On the other hand, INR 1500/- is the application fee for SC/ST category applicants. This is inclusive of service fee charged by the bank.

  • After making the fee payment, applicants will have to submit the NATA 2020 application form.

  • Lastly, applicants must take a printout of the NATA 2020 application form for future use.

NATA 2020 Application Fees Payment Modes

Payment through EPG:

Applicants can pay NATA application fee via electronic payment gateway i.e.:

  • Debit card

  • Credit card or

  • Net banking

Payment through SBI Bank E-challan:

  • There is a facility of making payment by SBI Bank E-challan. Applicants will have to choose 'SBI Bank E-challan' to submit their NATA 2020 application fee through a bank.

  • An E-challan will contain all the details of the applicant.

  • Applicants will have to take a printout of the E-challan for future use.

How can Candidates Retrieve their NATA ID?

It is to be noted that the candidates who have registered to appear for the NATA entrance can retrieve their Id (If lost) by following certain steps. We have provided the steps in the pointers below:

  • Candidates will have to visit the official website of NATA 2020.

  • There will be an option called “ FInd NATA Candidate ID” on the homepage of the website.

  • Candidates will have to click on the option.

  • Clicking on the option will lead to the opening of dialogue box where the candidates will enter certain details such as roll number of 10th standard, year of passing the secondary level final examination, board name of secondary level etc.

  • Candidates will then have to enter the verification code and then click on “Find Candidate ID”.

  • The candidate id will then be displayed on the screen.

Note: Candidates who lose their password can also set a new one by clicking on the “Forgot Password” link.

Steps to Check NATA 2020 Application Status

It is possible for the candidates to check the application status of NATA 2020. We have provided the steps which have to be followed by the candidates in order to do so:

  • The candidates will have to visit the official website of the entrance examination.

  • They will have to login in order to proceed with further steps.

  • Candidates will have to certain credentials like application number and password in the input box.

  • They will then have to click on the “Submit” option.

  • Submission of the details will lead the entire application form getting displayed on the screen.

  • Once the candidates can view their application form they will be able to find the empty fields to be marked in red and the filled up fields to be marked in green.

  • If the payment of the application form has not been done by the candidates, they will be able to see a message saying the payment is incomplete or pending on screen.

  • Candidates are then required to make the necessary changes and submit the completely filled application form.

NATA 2020 Form Correction

Candidates who apply for NATA will also get an opportunity to correct the information they have filled in while applying online:The steps for form corrections have been mentioned in the pointers below:

  • Candidates will have to create a new ticket on the HelpDesk with the title of “Error Correction:<>”.

  • Candidates will then have to mention the nature of error and correction required.

  • They will also have to attach the scanned copies of the original documents supporting the change one is seeking for.

  • It is also advisable for the candidates to contact the exam authority for assistance.
