TS LAWCET 2026 Merit List - Important Points to Remember

Before reviewing the TS LAWCET 2026 merit list, candidates should keep the following considerations in mind:

• The TS LAWCET merit list will be available on the official website. The applicants can then view the TS LAWCET 2026 merit list.
• The 2026 merit list will be published in PDF format, and candidates can access it via the official website.

To be eligible for the counselling rounds and admission procedure, candidates must achieve at least 35% on the entrance exam for the unreserved candidates. Only eligible candidates' names will appear on the TS LAWCET merit list. Candidates with the highest exam scores will be at the top of the list.

In the event of a tie in the TS LAWCET 2026 Merit List, the following tie-breaking criteria will be used:

• A student with the highest score in Part C, Aptitude for the Study of Law, will be placed higher on the merit list.
• If the tie persists, applicants' marks in Part B, Current Affairs, will be evaluated.
• If the rank cannot be decided yet, candidates will be placed together for ranking purposes, and candidates' ages will be considered at the time of admission. Senior candidates will be given precedence over younger candidates.

Participants must be aware that they must score higher than the exam's minimum qualifying marks to be admitted to any of the TS LAWCET 2026 participating colleges. The conducting board has set specified TS LAWCET 2026 qualifying marks, and those who do not achieve these are not accepted for admission to any participating college.

The major pointers related to the TS LAWCET cutoff 2023 for 5-year LLB are as follows -

• For Government colleges like University College of Law, Kakatiya University, Subedari, and Post Graduate College of Law, Basheerbagh, the cutoff rank for the OC category for Male and Female applicants was 0 and 401 and 77 and 226, respectively.
• The last rank for the University College Of Law OU Campus, Hyderabad, for the Open category for Male and Female students was 28 and 40.

What after TS LAWCET 2026 Merit List?

Once the TS LAWCET 2026 merit list has been released, the counselling process begins. Those shortlisted for counselling through the merit list will have to complete the TS LAWCET counselling registration and pay the counselling fees. 

TS LAWCET 2026 merit list will have two phases of counselling. Those applicants who were not assigned a seat in the first Phase of counselling can participate in the second round of counselling.
