About TS LAWCET 2025 Merit List (OUT on August 28)

The TS LAWCET merit list 2025 will be published for round 1 counselling on August 28. Candidates on the merit list must report to the allocated colleges between August 29 and September 2.

TS LAWCET 2025 Merit List - Important Points to Remember

Before reviewing the TS LAWCET 2025 merit list, candidates should keep the following considerations in mind:

• The TS LAWCET merit list will be available on the official website. The applicants can then view the TS LAWCET 2025 merit list.
• The 2025 merit list will be published in PDF format, and candidates can access it via the official website. 
• To view the TS LAWCET 2025 merit list, candidates must input their roll number/ registration number.

TS LAWCET 2025 Merit List Process for Tie-Breaker

To be eligible for the counselling rounds and admission procedure, candidates must achieve at least 35% on the entrance exam for the unreserved candidates. Only eligible candidates' names will appear on the TS LAWCET merit list. Candidates with the highest exam scores will be at the top of the list.

In the event of a tie in the TS LAWCET 2025 Merit List, the following tie-breaking criteria will be used:

• A student with the highest score in Part C, Aptitude for the Study of Law, will be placed higher on the merit list.
• If the tie persists, applicants' marks in Part B, Current Affairs, will be evaluated.
• If the rank cannot be decided yet, candidates will be placed together for ranking purposes, and candidates' ages will be considered at the time of admission. Senior candidates will be given precedence over younger candidates.

The TS LAWCET merit list is significant since admission to most Telangana law colleges is based on merit. The TS LAWCET merit list is also considered while compiling the participant list for counselling.

• Availability of seats.
• The number of students applying for TS LAWCET.
• The number of applicants who cleared TS LAWCET. 
• Previous year trends of the cutoff list.
• Exam’s difficulty level.

TS LAWCET 2025 Qualifying Marks

Participants must be aware that they must score higher than the exam's minimum qualifying marks to be admitted to any of the TS LAWCET 2025 participating colleges. The conducting board has set specified TS LAWCET 2025 qualifying marks, and those who do not achieve these are not accepted for admission to any participating college.

• The last rank for Male and Female candidates for the Viswa Bharathi College of Law Muthangi for the unreserved category was 2916 and 7929.
• Padaka Rama Reddy Law College, the cutoff rank for the Male and Female students for the Open category was 417 and 2757.

The major pointers related to the TS LAWCET cutoff 2023 for 5-year LLB are as follows -

• For Government colleges like University College of Law, Kakatiya University, Subedari, and Post Graduate College of Law, Basheerbagh, the cutoff rank for the OC category for Male and Female applicants was 0 and 401 and 77 and 226, respectively.
• The last rank for the University College Of Law OU Campus, Hyderabad, for the Open category for Male and Female students was 28 and 40.

What after TS LAWCET 2025 Merit List?

Once the TS LAWCET 2025 merit list has been released, the counselling process begins. Those shortlisted for counselling through the merit list will have to complete the TS LAWCET counselling registration and pay the counselling fees. 

TS LAWCET 2025 merit list will have two phases of counselling. Those applicants who were not assigned a seat in the first Phase of counselling can participate in the second round of counselling.
