The test was administered online over the course of two shifts on May 24, 2023. Marking Scheme of AP ICET Answer Key 2023

Below is the marking scheme of the AP ICET 2023 answer key:

• For each correct response, 1 mark is awarded to the candidates.

• For incorrect response, no negative marking is applicable.

Preparation of Merit List and Assigning of Rank in AP ICET 2023

• The following students shall be assigned the rank in the order of the merit on the basis of marks obtained in the AP ICET exam:

1. Candidates securing 25% qualifying marks in AP ICET (50 out of 200), and

2. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST category to whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed

• In case more than one student scoring the same marks, the tie will be resolved in the following manner:

• By considering the marks scored in Section-A

• If the tie is not resolved, marks obtained by a student in Section-B will be taken into consideration.

• If the tie still continues, the age of the candidate will be considered, giving the older candidate priority.

AP ICET Answer Key 2023: Normalisation of Scores

Normalisation aims to justify the candidates who had to solve a question paper that was more difficult compared to the ones who got an easier paper. The idea is to rationalize ranking the candidates based on global performance. The normalisation process has been provided below:

• SMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of the session in which the candidate belongs to

• GMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of all the candidates across all sessions together

• Top Average Session: Average marks of the top 0.1% of the candidates in the session in which the candidate belongs to

• Top Average Global: Average marks of the top 0.1% of all the candidates across all sessions together

Note:
For the candidates for whom no qualifying cutoff has been prescribed in AP ICET 2023 if the marks after normalization go below zero (negative), the total marks are regarded as zero. The ranks are assigned based on those marks. If a tie exists between more than one student, then AP ICET 2023 normalization marks will be considered for resolving the tie.

Candidates will have the privilege to file an objection to the AP ICET 2023 Answer Key. The preliminary answer key for AP ICET 2023 exam will be released by Sri Krishnadevaraya University right after the exam is conducted. AP ICET 2023 Objection Format

Sri Krishnadevaraya University will release the AP ICET 2023 final answer key along with the APICET 2023 Results. Sri Krishnadevaraya University will consider the objections or suggestions submitted by candidates for each session upon the release of the preliminary answer key while formulating the AP ICET final answer key 2023. Candidates do not have the privilege to make any requests for the objection against the AP ICET final answer keys. It is mandatory for the candidates to send the objections to Sri Krishnadevaraya University only in the suggested format, otherwise, the candidate’s request for objection will not be considered valid. Events after the Release of the AP ICET Answer Key 2023

After the release of the AP ICET answer key, candidates are required to wait for the AP ICET results to be released on the official website. The AP ICET Rank Card is also made available by AU. The AP ICET result is formulated in accordance with the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination. The AP ICET Result 2023 signifies the qualifying status of the candidates. In order to check their AP ICET result, candidates have to enter their registration number and hall ticket number.
