Steps to Check AP ICET 2026 Results & Rank Card

Candidates can check the AP ICET results 2026 by following the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, which is cets.apsche.ap.gov.in.
• On the homepage, you will find a link that will take you to the results page for AP ICET 2026. Click on that link to access the results page.
• Once you're on the results page, enter your Registration Number and ICET Hall Ticket number in the appropriate fields.
• After entering the details, click on the 'View Result' tab to view your AP ICET 2026 scorecard. The scorecard will display your overall score, sectional score, and percentile rank.
• Download and take a printout of your AP ICET 2026 scorecard for future reference.

The scorecard will serve as proof of your performance in the exam and will be required during the admission process. So, it is advisable to keep the scorecard safe and secure until the admission process is complete.

AP ICET Results 2026: Qualifying Criteria

To be able to participate in AP ICET 2026 counselling, candidates need to meet the qualifying cutoff set by the APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). Check the qualifying cutoff for different categories below.

• For the General Category: The minimum AP ICET qualifying score is 25% which is 50 marks out of 200.

• For Reserved Category: No minimum qualifying marks

Tie Breaking Criteria for AP ICET 2026 Results

During the preparation of the AP ICET 2026 merit list, if more than one student scores the same marks at APICET, the tie will be resolved by the following method:

• The candidate with the higher marks in Section A of the AP ICET question paper will receive the higher rank.
• If there is a tie, marks obtained by a student in Section B will be taken into consideration.
• If the tie persists, the tie will be resolved by taking into account the age of the candidate. The older candidate will be awarded the higher rank.

Re-evaluation for AP ICET Results 2026

If any details on the AP ICET Results/Rank Card are wrong or missing, candidates have the privilege to apply for re-evaluation of their results by paying a fee of INR 1000. In the case of any such discrepancies, candidates must contact the officials as soon as possible. The candidates must submit the application and fee within 15 days of the declaration of the AP ICET results 2026. Candidates must submit the fee as a Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Convener, AP ICET, 2026, payable at Sri Krishnadevaraya University on any nationalized Bank. 

AP ICET 2026 Normalization of Scores

AP ICET 2026 will be conducted in two sessions based on the same syllabus and exam pattern for candidates having the same eligibility criteria. A candidate was eligible to appear only in one session. Since the question paper was different for each session, there is a possibility that the candidates compare themselves about the variation in the difficulty level of questions. However, it may be noted that utmost care is taken so that all the papers are of the same standard. Further, it is decided to adopt the AP ICET 2026 normalization process to eliminate any such variations in the difficulty level of various sessions.

The normalization committee has deliberated extensively and decided to use the following AP ICET 2026 normalization process:

• SMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of the session in which the candidate belongs to
• GMS: (Average + Standard Deviation) of all the candidates across all sessions together
• Top Average Session: Average marks of the top 0.1% of the candidates in the session in which the candidate belongs to
• Top Average Global: Average marks of the top 0.1% of all the candidates across all sessions together

Note:For the candidates for whom there is no qualifying cutoff in APICET 2026, if the marks in AP ICET 2026 after normalization go below zero (negative), the total marks are treated as zero and the ranks are assigned based on those marks. If the tie persists, then AP ICET 2026 normalization marks will be considered for breaking the tie.

What After AP ICET Results 2026?

• After the AP ICET 2026 results are out and cutoff scores are published by the colleges that are taking part, the second step on your part is the AP ICET 2026 counselling process.
• To enrol for counselling, you will first have to register online by going to the official website.
• During registration:
  • If you are from the General category, your counselling fee will be INR 1200.
  • If you are from a Reserved category, your fee will be INR 600.
• After registration, you will have to upload your documents, which will be verified by the concerned authorities.
• After the verification of documents, the institutes will publish a provisional seat allotment list according to your rank and preference.
• The whole counselling session will be done online, so keep checking the updates regularly.
• You will also be provided an opportunity to go through the AP ICET Web Options Counselling, where you can select your desired courses and colleges.

AP ICET Cut off 2026

Only the candidates who clear the AP ICET cutoff are considered eligible to take part in the counselling process. The cutoff to be eligible for AP ICET counselling is 25% of the maximum marks in the exam, i.e. candidates have to score a minimum of 50 marks out of 200 to be eligible for the counselling. Furthermore, every college specifies its cutoffs for admission. AP ICET colleges are divided into four categories: A, B, C and D, as per the cutoff ranks from high to low.
