AP ICET Merit List 2024: Qualifying Criteria

The AP ICET 2024 exam is scored out of 200 marks. General Category candidates are required to score a minimum of 25% marks, equivalent to at least 50 marks out of 200, to qualify. However, there are no prescribed qualifying marks for SC and ST categories as per the regulations set by Sri Krishnadevaraya University on behalf of APSCHE. If two or more candidates achieve the same marks, the conducting authority employs a tie-breaker mechanism to determine the final rankings. The criteria for tie-breaker are as follows:

• Priority will be given to the marks scored in Section A to resolve ties in the AP ICET 2024.
• If the tie remains unresolved, marks obtained in Section B will be considered to break the tie.
• If the tie persists even after considering Section B marks, the age of the candidates will be taken into account.
• In such cases, older candidates will be given priority over younger candidates to resolve the tie.
