What is the CTET response sheet?
The CTET response sheet is the record of the answers that candidates have given when they appeared for the CTET exam. The CTET response sheet is released along with the CTET provisional answer key. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can download their response sheet from the official website when it is released using the required login credentials. Candidates can also calculate their CTET raw score using the response sheet. The response sheet for CTET 2024 will be the scanned copies of the OMR answer sheets since the exam will be conducted in offline mode.
Who can download the CTET response sheet?
The CTET response sheet will be available for download only to those candidates who have appeared for the CTET exam. Since the CTET response sheets will be available for download only on the official website and can be accessed by using the CTET application number and the Date of Birth of a candidate, the response sheet will only be accessible to actual test takers. Candidates must know how to download the response sheet so that they can use the same for future reference and also to calculate their raw scores. The steps to download the CTET response sheet are as follows:
- Visit the official website for CTET - ctet.nic.in
- On the official website, click on the link named ‘CTET Answer Key/Response Sheet’ under the Candidate Activity tab.
- Subsequently, candidates will be asked to enter the login credentials.
- After successfully logging in, the CTET answer key and response sheet will be displayed. Candidates can download the same using the download button on the top right hand corner.
How can I calculate the CTET score using the CTET response sheet?
The CTET score can be calculated using the CTET response sheet by candidates before the CTET results are declared. Candidates must use the CTET marking scheme and CTET response sheet to know their raw scores. Candidates are awared 1 mark for each correct answer on the CTET exam and there is no negative marking. Therefore, candidates can find out their CTET scores by simply checking the number of correct responses they have received on the CTET response sheet. Candidates must note that the raw scores are not the final scores as CBSE might normalize CTET scores before declaring the CTET results.
Can I raise objections against the CTET response sheet?
No, candidates cannot raise objections against the CTET response sheet. However, if candidates find any discrepancies in the CTET provisional answer key, they can submit objections against the provisional answer key by visiting the official website. Candidates have to pay a fee of INR 1000 in order to object to the CTET provisional answer key, which will be refunded if they objection is found to be valid.
When will the CTET Answer Key 2024 be released?
The CTET Answer Key 2024 has been officially released on February 7, 2024. CBSE has made the provisional answer keys for both paper 1 and paper 2, along with candidates' responses on their official website i.e. ctet.nic.in. Candidates can submit objections to questions and answers until February 10, 2024. The final answer key will be calculated based on this definitive key.
