CTET Exam Centres 2024

The CTET 2024 exam will be conducted on July 7, 2024. The CBSE CTET Exam City Slip 2024 will be made available for candidates to download from the official website at ctet.nic.in.The exam slip is an important document for candidates to know the exam city allotted to them. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in multiple CTET exam centers situated in different states and Union Territories of India. This year, the CTET exam will be conducted across 135 exam cities in India. The candidates get the flexibility to choose their CTET exam centers according to their convenience during the CTET application process.

While at the same, unlike other examinations where the candidates cannot make changes in their exam centers, CBSE allows the candidates to change their CTET exam centres through the official CTET website. CTET 2024 Exam City Intimation Slip

The CTET Exam City Intimation is done through the release of the CTET Exam City Intimation Slip which is also known as the CTET Pre-Admit Card. Candidates who have registered for the CTET 2024 exam must check and download their CTET Exam City Intimation Slip using their Application Number and Date of Birth as login credentials on the official website. The CTET Pre-Admit Card consists of vital information regarding the exam which includes the exam city which has been allotted to the applicant for the CTET exam 2024. The CTET 2024 Pre-Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website by following the steps mentioned below:

  • Candidates must visit the official website - ctet.nic.in
  • On the homepage, candidates must find and click on the pre-admit card link.

CTET Exam Center Guidelines

One of the most important things that candidates must be aware of when appearing for the CTET exam is to follow the rules and regulations set forth by the exam conducting authority. These guidelines have been put in place to ensure that aspirants have a smooth examination experience and can appear for the exam without any hassles. At the same time, if aspirants are not able to conform to the CTET exam day guidelines, they are bound to face obstacles and may even be barred from appearing for the CTET 2024 exam. That being said, here are the important guidelines that must be followed at the CTET exam center on exam day:

  • Candidates won't be allowed to enter the CTET exam centre after the allotted time has passed.
  • The CTET admission card and a photo ID must be brought by applicants to the exam centre that has been designated for them.
  • Candidates will be rejected if they are discovered to employ unethical techniques during the exam.
  • Water bottles may be brought to the CTET exam location, but they must be transparent.
  • The full exam must be taken in the testing facility, and candidates must stay there the entire time. Even if they pass the test, they won't be able to leave the CTET exam facility.
  • Candidates won't be allowed to enter the CTET exam centre after the allotted time has passed.
  • For the length of the exam, candidates must remain at the testing location. Even after they have passed the test, they will not be permitted to leave the CTET exam facility.

How many CTET exam cities are there in India?

There are 284 exam cities in India where the CTET 2023 exam will be administered. Along with the official notification, CBSE also publishes a list of the cities where the CTET exam would be held. When registering for the CTET exam, candidates must select their top exam cities. The CBSE assigns CTET 2023 exam cities based on candidates' preferences as well as other considerations. Before the CTET exam begins, candidates are notified of the exam city they have been assigned to. Candidates must make sure to check the official website for exam city allotment information when it is released.

How can candidates check their CTET exam center allotment?

When the CTET exam is officially announced, the CBSE publishes a list of the cities where the exam will be held on the official website - ctet.nic.in. However, after the application form correction option closes, no requests for exam city modifications are granted. The CTET exam city and date are listed on the admit card as well as the CTET Pre-admit card for candidates to see. The CTET admit card is made available by the CBSE a few days before the test. When it becomes available on the platform, candidates can view the CTET 2023 admission card by providing their registration number.
