CTET 2026 Application Form Correction

Candidates who have applied to take the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam can make corrections to their online CTET application form. Candidates will not be allowed to make any corrections in CTET 2026 registration after this window is closed under any circumstances.

Pre-Requisites to Fill CTET Application Form 2026

Candidates interested in applying for CTET 2026 exam must note that CBSE has an official website for CTET, and the candidates will have to submit the CTET 2026 application form only through the official website specified by CBSE. Step 1 - Candidate Registration​

The first step in the CTET application form filling is the candidate's registration. The candidates can follow the steps below to complete the primary registration for CTET 2026 exam -

• Open the above-mentioned website of CTET
• Click on the option that indicates 'Apply for CTET 2026'
• A new page will open now
• Click on the option that indicates 'Apply Now'
• The online registration form will open now
• Fill all the personal details such as Candidate's Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, E-Mail ID, Address, Mobile Number etc. 
• After mentioning the above details, create a password and click on 'Submit'
• Your CTET registration will be confirmed and an application number will be generated. 
• You will receive the CTET application number on your mobile via SMS. 

Step 2- CTET Online Application Form Submission

The second stage in the online application process is CTET application form submission. You will have to confirm the following details in this stage of the application form -

• Choice of Examination Centres
• Languages offered for CTET
• Question Paper Medium
• Unique Aadhar No (Optional)
• Gender Select: Gender male and female
• Category: Select category from General, SC, ST, and OBC
• Status of the qualifying exam: Select the status from the drop-down menu box. If qualified, select ‘Passed’ else select ‘Appearing’ in the final exam.
• Employment Status
• Applying for (Paper I or Paper-II)
• College/educational institution

Step 3: Uploading of Photograph and Signature in CTET Registration Form 2026

Candidates have to upload Image and Signature as per the dimension and format are given below:

• The scanned images of the latest Photographs and Signature should be in jpg format.
• Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.
• Size of the signature image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 25 kb.
• Image Dimension of Photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) * 4.5 cm (Height) only.
• Image dimension of Signature should be 3.5 cm (length) * 1.5 cm (Height) only.

Step 4: Payment of CTET Application Fee 2026

The application fee can be paid through online and offline mode.

• Remittance through E-Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET exam fee account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
• By Debit/Credit Card.

Step 5: Print Out of CTET Application Form 2026 Confirmation Page

• The candidate should fill in all the details while filling up the online application carefully.
• After depositing the fee in Bank, candidates are required to take a printout of the computer-generated confirmation page after successful submission of data (if fees are paid through Challan) and keep it for the record and future reference, if required.
• Once the payment has been confirmed, a confirmation page will be generated.
• The candidates are not required to send a hard copy of the confirmation page to CTET unit. However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application i.e. confirmation page, challan if the fee is paid by E-challan, for future reference.

Depending on the applicant's category and the number of papers an applicant decides to appear for, there are different application fees for the CTET 2026 exam. The application fee is Rs. 1,000 for General/Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates and Rs. 500 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Differently Abled Person candidates if they choose to opt for only one paper.
