How to Apply for IBSAT 2020

The IBSAT 2020 registration process has been started from 1st July and will end in the month of December 2020. Once the candidates register successfully for the entrance examination, they can fill the application form either in online mode or offline mode. Before filling the IBSAT application form, candidates must check the IBSAT Eligibility Criteria and other details related to the exam. ICFAI Foundation conducted the ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test (IBSAT) for admission to its MBA/PGPM and PhD programmes.

Around 50,000 candidates take this online management entrance exam every year. Now, candidates may go through the details about IBSAT registration, application form, important dates and more. The application form is common for admission to all MBA/PGPM programmes offered at IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Hyderabad, IBS Dehradun, IBS Jaipur, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai & IBS Pune campuses.​​

General Instructions for Filling IBSAT 2020 Application Form

  • The applicants must have a valid mobile number and e-mail address before starting the online application process.

  • The applicants must keep all the educational documents (from Class 10 to UG) ready for calculating the percentage of marks.

  • For instance, if the academic institute awards Grade Point Average (GPA), it must be converted into percentage as per the conversion scheme of the institution.

  • Applicants must keep a scanned copy of their coloured photograph and save it.

IBSAT Registration Process 2020

IBSAT 2020 application form is available in two ways

Online: Visiting the official website of IBSAT i.e. ibsindia.org.

Offline: Visiting the IBS Marketing Branches and purchasing the IBSAT Information Bulletin.

For New User Online:

  • Go to the official website of IBS.

  • Enter a valid postal address, telephone number and email ID.

  • After that, you will see two boxes i.e “Application no” and “Password”

  • With the created login credentials, you will now need to proceed with the online application process.

For New User Offline:

  • Applicants can purchase IBSAT 2020 Bulletin from the designated IBS Branches.

  • A voucher will be given to you, you have to scratch it and an application number and password will be issued.

Note:

  • On entering a valid login ID/Application No. and Password, you will be taken to the next section, which is “Change your password”.

  • Once the password is changed, the system will navigate to filling the 'IBSAT 2020 Application Form'.

  • In this section, you have to provide your contact details, programme information, and past academic record details.

Steps to Register for IBSAT 2020

Profile:

  • The applicants must enter their Name as per the academic records.

  • The candidates must also enter their Date of Birth, Address, Mobile Number, E-mail ID, Gender, and Citizenship.

  • Cross-check the details before clicking on ‘Proceed’.

  • For editing the data, click on ‘Back’.

  • If the entered personal data is correct, click on ‘Submit’.

  • The first stage of the application process ends with the submission of personal details.

Past Academic Record:

  • Firstly, select the programme, i.e., MBA/ PGPM based on your preference and eligibility.

  • Enter all the details relating to Class 10 & Class 12 (Intermediate) including Name of the Board, Percentage of Marks Obtained, Year of Passing, Medium, Mode of Study and Percentage.

  • Secondly, enter the details relating to your Graduation including duration, year of passing, the percentage of marks secured, mode of study and medium of instruction.

  • The applicants must also enter the name of the university or college, state, and city in which the candidate has graduated.

  • Check all the details carefully before clicking on ‘Proceed’.

  • For editing the data, click on ‘Back’.

  • If the entered personal data is correct, click on ‘Submit’.

Uploading Photograph and Signature:

  • Uploading photographs is the next stage of the application process.

  • The candidates must upload a coloured photograph in .jpeg or .jpg format.

  • The size of the photograph should not exceed 25 KB and must be approximately 140-160 pixels.

  • The candidates must upload their scanned signature in the required format.

Payment Detail:

  • The application fee for IBSAT 2020 is Rs 1800 /-.

  • Payment for IBSAT 2020 is done via Online Mode (Credit Card/ Debit Card or Netbanking)

Entrance Exam Details:

  • This is the last stage of the application process.

  • The applicants must specify as to how they wish to apply for the MBA/ PGPM programme, i.e., through which of these exams -IBSAT/ CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT.

Declaration:

  • The candidates must check on ‘I Agree’ on the declaration statement.

  • The declaration statement indicates that all the information submitted by the candidates is correct.

  • Now, click on ‘Submit'.

  • The application process ends with the submission of all the details.
