KCET 2019 Results

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2019 results will be announced once the exam concludes in April 2019. Meanwhile, you can look at the KCET 2018 results below. 

The KCET 2018 Result will be released online by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA)  on the official website. In order to view KCET 2019 scores, candidates will have to provide their Registration number and write a code given on the same page. KCET 2019 result displays the overall scores and ranks scored by the qualified candidates in the entrance exam.

Qualified candidates of the state engineering entrance test can view and download their KCET 2019 scores. On the basis of the scores/rank in KCET 2019, candidates will be called for the counselling procedure, and seat allotment will be done for admission into various engineering programmes.

How to Check KCET 2019 Result

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to access their KCET 2019 result:

  • Visit the official website and click on the link available to access KCET Result 2019.

  • Provide details like Registration number, etc, and click on 'Submit'.

  • After providing the details, KCET 2019 scorecard will appear on the screen, which will include the overall and subject-wise marks scored by the candidates.

  • Download and save the KCET 2019 scorecard and take a printout for future references.

Details Mentioned on KCET Scorecard 2019

KCET 2019 scorecard will contain the following details:

  • Total marks obtained by the candidate

  • Details of sectional cut off

  • Section names

  • Sectional score of the candidates.

KCET Merit List 2019

KCET merit list will be released on the official website after the declaration of KCET result. The merit list of the candidates will be based on the marks/rank scored by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

KCET merit list 2019 will contain the names of all the qualified candidates in KCET 2019 and on the basis of KCET merit list 2019, candidates will be invited to participate in KCET 2019 counselling process for seat allotment purposes.

Note: By viewing the KCET 2019 merit list, appeared candidates will know whether they are qualified to attend the counselling process or not.

KCET Cut-off 2019

KEA will announce KCET cut-off 2019 after result declaration. As was with KCET 2018 cut-off, candidates will be selected for admissions into various government and private engineering colleges in Karnataka basis KCET 2019 cut-offs. The KCET cut-off 2019 will be prepared category-wise, therefore, candidates must view the cut-off of KCET 2019 according to their category. It must be noted that candidates who score either equal to or above the KCET 2019 cut-off will be considered for admission, and candidates failing to meet the cut-off rank will not be considered for admission in any of the undergraduate engineering courses.

KCET 2019 cut-off will depend on the following factors:

  • Availability of the total seats

  • Number of candidates appeared in the exam

  • Level of difficulty in KCET 2019
