KCET 2018 Result

The result of KCET 2018 is expected to be released online by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) in the last week of May 2018 on the official website. In order to view KCET 2018 scores, candidates will have to provide their Roll number and Password. KCET 2018 result will display the overall scores and rank scored by the qualified candidates in the entrance exam.

Qualified candidates of the state engineering entrance test will be able to view and download their KCET 2018 scores. On the basis of the scores/rank in KCET 2017, candidates will be called for counselling procedure and seat allotment will be done for admission into various engineering programmes.

Note: After viewing KCET 2018 results, candidates must not forget to download their scorecard and keep it safe untill the completion of admission procedure.

How to Check KCET 2018 Result

Candidates can folllow the below mentioned steps to access their KCET 2018 result:

  • Vist the official website and click on the link displaying, ‘KCET 2018 Results’.

  • Provide the details like, Registration number and Password.

  • After providing the details, KCET 2018 scorecard will appear on the screen,which will include the overall and subject-wise marks scored by the candidate.

  • Download and save the KCET 2018 scorecard and take a printout for future references.

KCET 2018 scorecard will contain the following details:

  • Total marks obtained by the candidate

  • Details of sectional cut off

  • Section names

  • Sectional score of the candidate

KCET Merit List 2018

KCET merit list will be released on the official website after the declaration of KCET result. The merit list of the candidates will be based on the marks/rank scored by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

KCET merit list 2018 will contain the names of all the qualified candidates in KCET 2018 and on the basis of KCET merit list 2018, candidates will be invited to participate in KCET 2018 counselling process for seat allotment purposes.

Note: By viewing the KCET 2018 merit list, appeared candidates will know whether they are qualified to attend the counselling process or not.

KCET Cut-off 2018

KEA will announce KCET 2018 cut-off after result declaration. As per the KCET cut-off, candidates will be selected for admissions into various Government and Private colleges. The KCET cut-off 2018 will be prepared category-wise, therefore, candidates must view the cut-off of KCET 2018 according to their category. It must be noted that candidates who scores either equal to or above the KCET 2018 cut-off will be considered for admission, and candidates failing to meet the cut-off rank will not be considered for admission in any of the undergraduate engineering courses.
