Preparation of MAH MBA CET Merit List

1. Assignment of merit number: All Eligible Candidates who have submitted MAH MBA CET Application Form on or before the last date for Admission through CAP shall be assigned a merit number.
2. Change of Marks due to verification: If the marks in the qualifying examination are modified due to verification and the same is duly certified by the concerned Appropriate Authority or Board, the same shall be reported to the Competent Authority for admission through CAP or its designated representatives prior to 5 p.m. on the day of display of final merit list.
3. Method of calculating marks at qualifying examination for deciding eligibility: While deciding the eligibility of the candidates, following procedure shall be adopted–

• The percentage of marks shall be calculated by rounding off to the nearest integer, i.e. if the percentage of marks comes out to be 44.50% to 44.99% then it shall be rounded to 45% and if the percentage of marks comes out to be 44.01% to 44.49%, shall be rounded to 44% for deciding the eligibility.
• If letter grades are assigned at SSC, HSC, Diploma, Bachelor of Science or its equivalent examination, the Candidate must submit the certificate of conversion of letter grades into equivalent marks from the concerned Competent Authority or Board at the time of submission of Application Form. The eligibility shall be decided on the basis of equivalent marks.
• If the Candidate re-appears for the qualifying examination with all subjects, then the marks obtained in the latest examination shall only be considered.
• The Grades or Marks are considered on the basis of which the class of Degree is awarded.

4. Provided that, in case of tie, the relative merit of Candidates shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below:––

• Higher percentage of marks in HSC or Diploma
• Higher percentage of marks in SSC
• Higher marks in Science subject in SSC
• Higher marks in mathematics subject in SSC
• Higher marks in English in SSC

Candidates must keep a few things in mind about the MAH MBA CET 2023 merit list. • The MAH MBA Merit has two important phases:

  • Final Merit List: The Final Merit List list features names of those candidates who will be eligible to seek admission to various colleges. This list is prepared on the basis of DTE MBA counselling.
• The MAH MBA Merit list will be covering all candidates from all categories, including Maharashtra State Candidature, All India Candidature, NRI/OCI/PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, and Jammu and Kashmir Migrant seats.
• When creating the merit list, the applicants under Maharashtra State Candidates shall be prioritized in the following order if two candidates have the same overall score and percentile:
  • Candidates with a higher percentage of marks in Class 12 will be given priority in the MAH CET merit list.
  • Furthermore, candidates with a higher percentage of marks in Class 10 exams will be given preference.
• All India Candidature candidates will be given preference on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in CET 2023 during the preparation of the merit list.

How to Access MAH MBA CET 2023 Merit List

• Firstly, Candidates need to visit the official MAH MBA CET 2023 website.
• Then candidates have to click on the “Merit List” tab accessible on the home page of the official website.
• Next, the candidates will have to enter their date of birth along with the application ID in the respective text boxes and then click on the “Submit” button.

MAH MBA CET 2023 Counselling Process

The MAH MBA CET 2023 counselling will be conducted after the release of the MAH MBA CET Cutoff 2023 for the admission process. The rounds of counselling will be held in October and November 2023. To take part in the counselling of MAH CET 2023 candidates initially will have to register themselves.
Candidates qualifying for the first round, i.e. CBT exam of the MAH MBA CET 2023 will be considered for the second phase, which is the counselling session. The Maharashtra DET authorities conduct the counselling process through the CAP (Centralized Admission Procedure). Usually, three to four rounds of counselling are conducted after the CBT exam. DTE Maharashtra will be responsible for releasing the Cut Off Merit List for Maharashtra & Minority Seats along with All India Seats CAP Round-I. Provisional vacancies will be announced after CAP Round 2 for admission to MBA/MMS.
