How to Apply for MAT 2018

The notification of MAT December 2018 Registration Process will be released by the All India Management Association (AIMA). Candidates who wish to take the exam can fill the application form online only. MAT form will be available on AIMA's official website from the 2nd week of October 2018.

Once the application forms are available, candidates must check the eligibility criteria and all the requirements related to the application procedure of MAT. Once all the documents are in place, candidates should fill and submit their application forms before the last date. Those planning to apply should note that exam officials reserve the right to reject applications that are not complete, contain false information or do not fulfill the eligibility conditions.

Along with the release of the schedule, AIMA has announced that the application procedure for MAT has gone completely online. Earlier, candidates had the option to fill the MAT 2018 application form online or offline but that will not be the case in December 2018 exam, as far as the latest news is concerned.

MAT Application Form Online Procedure

There are two options to fill the MAT application form through online mode:

1. By Uploading Photograph and Signature:

  • Firstly, candidates need to go to the official website.
  • After that, candidates have to fill the personal details, uploaded the picture and signature.
  • Pay the fee for registration form - Rs.1550/- through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking
  • Click on the submit button
  • The candidate receives a confirmation email on his email address.

2. Without Uploading Photograph and Signature:

  • Those who do not wish to have their picture and signature uploaded must remember to get the MAT Registration Form as a printout.
  • After that, the candidates should fill all the details in the downloaded form and paste their recent colored passport size photo and put their signature in the given space.
  • On completion of MAT Registration, candidates can send the form along with a demand draft of Rs.1550/- to AIMA by post, New Delhi.

MAT Registration Acknowledgment by All India Management Association (AIMA)

All the filled-in forms received at AIMA are processed within five days and all such forms are scrutinized. Candidates can check their receipt status of MAT Registration form on the official website. If print out of the form is received later than the due date, it will not be accepted and the fee will also not be refunded.

1. What is the price of the Bulletin / CD with registration form? / How to Apply?

A. Candidate can choose any one of the three modes to apply:

  • Online registration on the website with Credit Card or Debit Card (ATM Card) payment of Rs.1550. The detailed procedure is given on the website link (mat.aima.in/dec18)
  • Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.1550 in favour of 'All India Management Association', payable at Delhi from any bank. Register online at website link along with the DD details. The detailed procedure is given on the website link.
  • Obtain Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs.1500/- (Inclusive of 18% GST) from listed Study Centres of AIMA or from AIMA, New Delhi.

2. What is the last date of submitting filled in MAT Registration Form?

The last date for submission of the Offline exam is 23rd November 2018 while for Online examination is 8th December 2018. The last date also appears in the notification released by AIMA in various national regional newspapers.

3. Does an applicant have to buy the prospectus of the management institutes opted by him/her?

For applying to opted management institutes, it is suggested that their prospectus should be bought.
