The conducting body of Management Aptitude Test (MAT) i.e AIMA (short for All India Management Association ) prescribes the eligibility criteria of MAT 2020. The eligibility norms for MAT examination have remained unchanged over the years. MAT has ‘No Age Bar’ and anyone with the prescribed qualification can appear for the examination. All India Management Association (AIMA) does not restrict anyone who is aspiring to seek admission to the MBA course through MAT.
Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of MAT 2020 before applying for the exam. To appear in MAT exam, the applicant must have obtained a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university/institute. The detailed eligibility norms for MAT examination are elaborated below.
Mentioned below are all the detailed eligibility criteria for MAT (February) 2020 exam which must be fulfilled by the applicants before applying for the same:
There is no age limitation for MAT 2020 examination. As per AIMA rules, the candidate of any age can appear the exam.
Number of Attempts:
There is no restriction for the number of attempts, but try to qualify the examination in the first time only. Candidates can appear in MAT as many times they want.
The offline and online examination of MAT is scheduled four times in a year, the applicants can attend all the four examinations if they are not satisfied with their scores.
Criteria of Qualification :
Candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree in any of stream from a recognised institute or university are eligible to apply.
The final year of graduation candidates can also apply for the MAT 2020.
The candidates who have no work experience can also give the examination. The information about work experience may be asked during the application form of MAT.
Criteria for Percentage:
The minimum qualifying marks or percentage in UG degree for the admission to management programmes varies for different institutes. The candidates are suggested to refer the information brochures of particular University for the same.
The eligibility criteria mentioned above is based on the eligibility details for MAT over the past few years. If AIMA makes any changes in the eligibility details for MAT, it will issue a fresh notification.
