UCEED 2026 Application Form (Closed on Nov 10 with a Late Fee)

The UCEED 2026 registration has been closed with a late fee of INR 500. The last date to fill out the UCEED 2026 application form with a late fee was November 10, 2025 (till 5:00 PM). Earlier, the application form deadline with a late fee was November 7, 2025. The registration deadline without a late fee was November 5, 2025, 11:55 PM. Earlier, the last date to apply for the UCEED 2026 exam was October 31, 2025 (till 11:55 PM). The regular fee is INR 2000 for female, SC, ST & PwD candidates and INR 4000 for all other candidates. The registration process started online on the official website on October 1, 2025. IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2026 exam on January 18, 2026, for admission to BDes programs at IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur. Registration will be cancelled if, at a later date, it is found that the candidate does not meet any of the three eligibility criteria. How to fill UCEED 2026 Application Form

Candidates are advised to follow these simple steps below to successfully apply for the UCEED 2026 exam:

Step 1: Registration on UCEED Website:

• Click on the direct link mentioned above or Visit the official website at uceed.iitb.ac.in.

• Choose the "Register" option.

• Enter your email address.

• Click on the "Register" tab.

• A validation link will be sent to your registered email ID 

• The password will be sent to your registered phone number. This password will be required to log into the UCEED 2026 application form.

Step 2: Fill out the UCEED 2026 Application Form

• Enter the registered email ID and password.

• After a successful login, you have to enter the following details such as: Name, First name, Middle name, Last name, Date of Birth, Gender, Mobile, Address, Nationality, City, State, Country, Pin code, Question, Secret answer and Password, and Confirm password.

• Then, Enter the Captcha code.

• After submitting the details as above, you will be directed to a new page for eligibility check for the entrance exam such as Physical Disability, Select birth category from the dropdown, Mention date of birth, Qualifying year of HSC 10+2, Mobile Number etc.

• Next, you have to click on the ‘Mobile Verification’ button, you will receive an OTP that you have to enter on the specified space and again click on the ‘Mobile Verification’ tab. 

In this step, you have to fill in the following information:

• Personal Details such as

  • Enter your name

  • Enter Father’s/Guardian’s/Husband’s name

  • Enter the right gender

  • Enter your nationality

  • Select your category

  • If you belong to any of the reserved categories, you have to fill in additional details such as Tribe/Caste name.

  • If you are a person with a disability, you have to fill in additional details such as the category of disability and disability percentage.

  • Enter your communication address

  • Provide alternate mobile number and email address if available

• Academic Details such as qualifying exam, year of passing, board, stream, school/college name

  • Details of 10th class examination (Compulsory)

  • Details of 12th class examination (Compulsory)

  • Other professional degrees (If any)

• Now, you have to choose three examination cities according to their preference

• Click on the 'Save' tab.

• After clicking on the save tab, you can preview the form and check if all the details entered by you are correct.

• Next, click on the ‘Confirm’ tab.

Step 3: Uploading Documents for the UCEED Application Form

• You have to upload your documents and scanned images of your recent passport-sized photograph in the prescribed format.

• After filling in all the necessary details and uploading the documents, you can preview the application form. 

• You will also have the option to make any changes in the registration form before you pay the fee for registration

Step 4: UCEED Application Fee Payment

• The payment of the UCEED Application fee can be made through Online Mode only through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking

• Please note once payment of the application fee is made, you will not be allowed to change/modify any information in the application form.

• The fee will not be accepted through any other mode.

Step 5: Submission of UCEED Application Form

• After the successful payment of the application fee, you are advised to keep a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

Steps to Fill UCEED 2026 B.Des Application Form for Participating Institutes

Candidates who pass the UCEED 2026 test must take the processes outlined below to get admission to one of the four participating universities:

• Step 1: Review the eligibility requirements.
• Step 2: Examine the seat matrix
• Step 3: Confirm the specifics of UCEED 2026.
• Step 4: Complete the BDes application form 2026.
• Step 5: Add documents.
• Step 6: Pay the application fee.
• Step 7: Fill out the form and submit it.
• Step 8: Print the BDes application form.

Note: The application fee for UCEED member institutes is INR 2,000, which must be paid when filling out the admission form. The application fee can be paid by credit card, debit card, or online/net banking. 

UCEED Eligibility Criteria 2026

The eligibility criteria to appear for the UCEED 2026 exam are as follows:

Age

• Candidates born on or after October 1, 2000. 
• However, SC, ST, and PwD candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1995.

Attempt Limit

• You will be permitted a maximum of two attempts for UCEED and these should be given in two consecutive years. 
• It must be remembered that the UCEED score is valid for only one academic year, and the candidate becomes eligible for admissions only for that particular year.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants who will appear for the test should have qualified in all subjects, in their 10+2 examination in 2024 or should be appearing for this qualifying examination for the first time in 2026 to be eligible for UCEED 2026. 
• Students from any stream - Science, Commerce or Arts & Humanities are eligible to apply. 
• If you appeared for the qualifying examination (Class XII) for the first time in 2022 or earlier, you are NOT eligible for UCEED 2026.
