About AME CET 2018

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test, popularly known as AME CET, is a common entrance exam conducted on a national level. By appearing in AME CET, candidates can get admission in Govt. approved AME institutions in India. The entrance exam has objective type of questions that are asked in Hindi & English languages. Based on the AME CET All India Rank, candidates can get admission in Govt. approved AME institutions.

AME CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Fulfilling the AME CET 2018 eligibility criteria is mandatory for the candidates appearing for the entrance exam. With the help of AME CET 2018 eligibility criteria, candidates can know what are the eligibility requirements they need to fulfill. The eligibility criteria of AME CET 2018 mentions various requirements such as age limit criteria and academic qualifications that candidates must satisfy in order to be eligible for the entrance exam.

Candidates not fulfilling the AME CET 2018 eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear in the entrance exam.

  • The age limit to be eligible for the exam should be between 16 to 28 years at the time of admission.

  • Candidate should possess three years Diploma in any stream that should be recognised by Central / State Govt.

  • Candidates can apply for AME CET only three times.

  • In order to be eligible for the exam, candidate should have either passed 10+2 or is appearing in 2018 with non-medical stream or equivalent AICTE approved 3 years Engineering Diploma or any other higher qualification in the stream of Science with Physics and Mathematics.

  • All the eligible candidates for admission in B.Tech courses will also be eligible for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME).

AME CET 2018 Exam Pattern

According to the AME CET 2018 exam pattern, the entrance exam is going to be conducted in both online and offline modes. This year, AME CET 2018 is going to be held on 6th May, 2018. For completing the AME CET 2018 question paper, candidates are given 1 hour 30 minutes and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer. Before appearing for the entrance exam, candidates should know the detailed exam pattern of AME CET 2018.

  • AME CET 2018 is conducted in offline and online mode on the same day.

  • The exam duration of AME CET 2018 is 1 hour 30 minutes.

  • AME CET 2018 consists of 90 multiple choice questions.

  • In AME CET 2018, questions are asked from subjects like Physics, English Chemistry, Mathematics and General Awareness.

  • The medium of AME CET question paper is both Hindi and English. However, in case of any ambiguity, the English version shall be considered final.

  • For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded to the candidates.

  • 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

AME CET 2018 Result - (Declared)

AME CET 2018 result has been declared on 16th May, 2018. The result of AME CET 2018 has been declared in online mode. In order to view the results of AME CET 2018, candidates have to visit the official website, i.e. www.amecet.in and view their scores.

The result of AME CET 2018 will display the total marks, ranks, and marks scored by the candidates in each subject in the entrance exam. On the basis of the performance of the candidates in AME CET 2018, a separate merit list will be prepared for AME course. AME CET 2018 Counselling

In AME CET 2018 counselling, candidates who qualify the minimum cut-off marks are called to participate. On the basis of the AME CET 2018 All India Rank (AIR), candidates are allotted seats in the counselling process, although seat allotment depends on the availability of seats on the day of counselling.

As part of the counselling process, qualified candidates are notified via SMS, E-mail, and website. Therefore, candidates must check the official website, i.e. www.amecet.in regularly for counselling dates.

Seat Allocation Process and Admission Process

  • The seat allotment process of AME CET 2018 is strictly as per the AME CET 2018 AIR (All India Rank) of the candidate, which is subject to the order of preference given for the seats and availability of seat in the institute.

  • Qualified candidates participating in the AME CET 2018 counselling process should know that once the seat is allotted to the candidate, no change in the Institution / Course is admissible.

  • In case the candidate does not report for the admission to the allotted institutions, then, at the time of the counselling, the fee paid by the candidate after the allotment of seat is forfeited and is not refunded under any circumstances to the candidates.

  • Candidates are informed about the date of counselling, required documents, number of seats, counselling fees etc. via SMS, E-mail.

  • On the day of counselling, candidates are required to be present with original documents / certificates, failing which they will lose their claim.

AME CET Admit Card 2018

The AME CET 2018 admit card has been released on the official website of the Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET) in online mode for the candidates who have registered for the entrance exam. To download the admit card of AME CET 2018, test-takers must enter their login credentials –Registration Number and Registered Mobile Number on the official website.

To access and download the AME CET 2018 admit card, candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Go to the official website of AME CET, i.e. https://www.amecet.in/

Step 2: Click on the link that says, “AME CET 2018 Admit Card”.

Step 3: Enter the login credentials –Registration Number and Registered Mobile Number.

Step 4: After entering the details, the AME CET 2018 admit card will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Before downloading the AME CET 2018 admit card, candidates must verify all the details given in the admit card.

  • At the exam centre, candidates must bring the admit card of AME CET 2018.

  • A candidate who does not possess the admit card issued by the Board shall not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.
