Subject-Wise Preparation Tips for Amity JEE 2022
General English:
The General English section of Amity JEE consists of 15 questions out of the total 90 questions and it carries a total of 60 marks (4 marks for each correct answer) out of 360. Candidates should be well aware of their answers as 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer. The candidates can score full marks in this section if they are good at English Grammar, and have a good vocabulary. Candidates can consult books like Wren and Martin for basic English Grammar practice. Candidates should also read a lot of novels, articles, and newspapers to enhance their vocabulary.
Physics:
The Physics section of Amity JEE consists of 25 questions out of the total 90 questions and it carries a total of 100 marks out of 360. Candidates are given 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. Students can refer to books like Concepts of Physics by H.C. Verma (Volume 1 &2) for making their base strong. Students can also take mock tests to know where they stand and what topics will require more practice. Students need to be calm and determined otherwise they’ll be confused as the syllabus is quite vast.
Chemistry:
The Chemistry section of Amity JEE consists of 25 questions out of 90 and it carries a total of 100 marks out of 360. 4 marks are given for every correct answer, however, one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer. Students, therefore, need to be sure about their answers so that they can avoid negative markings. Students need to practice a lot and should memorize all the formulas and revise them daily. Students can take Amity JEE mock tests to get a fair idea of the exam pattern and marking scheme of the exam.
Mathematics or Biology:
Candidates will either take Mathematics or Biology as their fourth section. This section has 25 questions out of 90 with a total mark of 100 out of 360. Candidates need to be very focused while preparing for this section. Candidates are given 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark is deducted for each negative answer. Candidates can also take mock tests so that they can understand where they are lacking and can work on it.
For Mathematics, candidates need to keep practicing and should go through the formulas regularly. Candidates opting for Mathematics can score full marks as this particular section is very scoring.
For Biology, candidates need to read everything in detail as questions can be a bit tricky. A detailed study is recommended for this subject. Candidates should make notes while studying so that before the main exam they can just go through the study notes.
