The AP ECET Result 2024 will be released in online mode at ctets.apsche.ap.gov.in, tentatively in May or June 2024. Candidates will be able to access the AP ECET 2024 Result by entering their registration number and hall ticket number. The total marks obtained by a candidate in the AP ECET exam are calculated based on the total number of correct answers and the total number of incorrect answers marked. Thus, to calculate their scores, candidates must be aware of the AP ECET marking scheme 2024.
As per the marking pattern of the AP ECET exam, each correct answer carries 1 mark while each incorrect answer carries a negative marking of 0.25 marks.

Thus, the total marks obtained are calculated using the following method -
Total Marks in AP ECET = (Total no. of correct responses x 1) - (Total no. of incorrect responses x 0.25)
The AP ECET 2024 Merit List will include the names and roll numbers of all the candidates who pass the exam and are eligible to participate in the AP ECET 2024 counselling process. The merit list of AP ECET 2024 will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the examination.
While preparing the AP ECET Merit List 2024, in case two or more candidates score the same marks, then tie-breaking rules will be applied, which are as follows -
Candidates scoring higher marks in Mathematics will be given priority and ranked higher.
If a tie persists, candidates with higher marks in Chemistry & Physics will be rewarded a higher rank.
If a tie still continues, the candidate older in age will be given priority and ranked at a higher position.
