The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is the examination conducted for the aspirants of management studies all over India. The qualifying marks of the examination will allow candidates to participate in the selection and admission procedure of the participating colleges of CMAT. The exam is to be conducted on 28th January 2019, at different designated centers of CMAT. The application process for the test began from 1st November 2018 and continued until 7th December 2018 (extended). Interested candidates must apply for CMAT within the date slot, following the correct steps and procedures.

For filling the CMAT 2019 application form, candidates must visit the official website of CMAT. The application process of CMAT 2019 involves the following stages:
Step 1: Self Registration
Visit the official website of CMAT.
Click on 'New Registration' under 'Registration Info' section.
Register yourself by providing asked details.
Cross check the details entered in the Self Registration form and verify it before clicking on the 'Submit' button.
A login password will be sent to you via E-mail or SMS, after a successful submission of the registration details.
After successful registration, remember to check your registration by logging in.
You are now ready to login an get access to the CMAT 2019 Application Form.

While filling the CMAT application form, the applicants must enter the required details as well as upload all the necessary documents. Applicants must keep all the required documents ready before beginning the application process for CMAT examination. Before filling the CMAT application form, candidates must read the following instructions:
1. What is the fee for the test?
The fee for General/OBC candidates appearing for CMAT is Rs.1400 + Bank charges as applicable; whereas for Female /SC/ST/PWD category candidates fee is Rs.700 + Bank charges as applicable.
2. Where do I pay my fees?
Candidates appearing for the CMAT exam in India are required to pay registration fee either by Credit / Debit cards / Net banking or through Bank Challan at SBI Bank.
3. When and how do I register for CMAT January 2019?
Online registration for CMAT January 2019 will begin on 1st November 2018. Detailed instructions for the online application and registration process will be available soon.
4. Can I use my coaching institute’s or a friend’s email address when registering for CMAT?
No, you need to have a valid and unique email address of your own, which you will be using at least for the next eight months.
5. Can I pay the fees through Bank Demand Draft or Cheque or Cash? Where do I pay my fees?
No. Fees cannot be paid through Bank Demand Draft or Cheque. It can be paid online or it can be paid as cash at any of the SBI branches. For making a cash payment, you need to generate Challan through the portal and visit the nearest SBI bank on the next day of challan generation to pay the cash.
6. When will CMAT be held and can I choose a test city?
CMAT in India will be held on 28th January 2019. Yes, you can select up to 3 cities in India in the order of your preference. The first choice of city will be given due consideration and weightage. However, actual allotment as per order of choice will be subject to availability of the slot in that particular city.
7. From where can I get the list of test cities?
The list of test cities will be available on the official website soon.
8. Can I change my preferred test city after I have submitted my form?
No data can be changed once the form is submitted.
9. After submission of CMAT registration fee, can I cancel my application and apply for a refund of fee?
Under no circumstances, cancellation of application and refund of fee will be allowed.
10. If I do not take my test, will I be eligible for a refund?
No. Your fees will not be refunded in case you do not appear for your test as per the scheduled location, date and time.
