CUCET 2018 eligibility criteria specifies the eligibility norms that must be fulfilled by the applicants to be eligible to apply for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria mentions the age limit, educational criteria, and the qualifying marks that an applicant must score to appear in CUCET 2018. Applicants must note that CUCET 2018 eligibility criteria varies university-wise. Therefore, before applying for the exam, candidates can check the university-wise eligibility criteria.
For Undergraduate Courses
General category applicants should score at least 50% marks in class 12.
Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe applicants should have a minimum of 45% marks in class 12.
In class 12, applicants should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology depending upon the course applying for.
For Post Graduate Courses
General category applicants should score 55% marks in their Graduation from a recognised university.
SC/ST/OBC/PWD category applicants should have 50% marks in their Graduation from a recognised university.
For Ph.D Courses
Applicants should have a Master’s degree in any stream with minimum of 55% marks for General category applicants, 50% marks for OBC category applicants and 45% marks for SC/ST/PWD category applicants.
If an applicant has cleared UGC-CSIR JRF, GATE, NBHM or qualified in any other National level Exam, then he/she is exempted from appearing in the entrance exam.
