How to Apply for KCET 2020

Candidates interested to appear for KCET should definitely know about how to apply for KCET 2020. The application procedure for KCET has been prescribed by the examination conducting authority i.e Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Candidates who want to appear in the entrance should do it online by visiting the official website of the entrance. Aspirants can get their admissions done to various architecture, medical and engineering courses offered by various colleges in the state of Karnataka. It is to be noted that there are certain eligibility criteria which are to be fulfilled by the candidates in order to successfully apply for the examination. In case any applicant is found to not fulfill any one of the eligibility criteria, he/she can be disqualified to be a part of the admission process.

KCET 2020 application process will be over, and it will be followed by the application correction process. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will conduct the entrance exam on April 22, 23 & 24, 2020. Filling KCET 2020 application form is a simple process that has been described on this page. Steps to Apply for KCET 2020

Candidates can read the following steps to fill the KCET 2020 application form:

  • Click on the link available on the official website to register for Karnataka CET 2020.

  • Fill the required details in the online KCET application form. 

  • Keep the scanned copies of the Photograph, Signature, Left-hand thumb impression, and Father’s/Mother’s/Guardian’s Signature for upload.

  • All the scanned copies of images should be in jpeg/jpg format only.

  • The image size of scanned copies should not be more than 40KB.

  • Photo image dimension should be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm only.

  • The image dimensions of Signature and Left-hand thumb impression should be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm only.

Payment of KCET 2020 Application Fee

After submission of application, you will be redirected to fee payment page. Applicants can choose to pay the KCET exam fee via Bank Challan or by Demand Draft.

  • Bank Challan: Candidates can pay the exam fee through E-Challan generated after submission of application at any of the branches of Syndicate Bank, State Bank of Mysore, Indian Bank, Axis Bank, Central Bank of India, or at the E-post office.

  • Demand Draft: Candidates residing outside India can pay the application fee through Demand Draft. The Demand Draft must be drawn in favour of “Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority”, payable at Bangalore.

Note: Candidates must not forget to take a printout of the KCET application form 2020.

KCET 2020 Correction Window

The KCET 2020 application form correction window will be opened after the completion of the KCET application process 2020 for those applicants who want to edit the information they provided in their application forms. The application form correction window for KCET 2020 will also be reopened in case the first time is not sufficient for the candidates. 

Here is how the applicants can edit their KCET 2020 application forms after the KCET 2020 application form window is opened: 

  • Click on the given link for KCET 2020 application form correction.

  • You will be redirected to the official website of KCET 2020.

  • Fill in your Username and Password.

  • After filling in the credentials, check if you have entered the correct information.

  • Now press the ‘Submit’ button. 

  • Now start editing your application form.

  • Submit it after rechecking the details.

  • Pay the correction fee (if any).

  • Take a print out for future reference.
