KCET 2022 Application Form (Correction Window Open)

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has REOPENED the KCET 2022 application process till May 30, 2022. Candidates who wish to edit the details in the already filled application form can do the same from May 21 to May 24, 2022. The last date of KCET 2022 registration was earlier extended to May 20, 2022 (5 pm). The mode of the application form was online. The candidates were required to fill in their personal and academic details in the KCET application form disseminated by the exam conducting authority. Earlier, KEA released the trial version of the KCET 2022 application form on its official portal cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. KCET registration 2022 began on April 18, 2022, in online mode. KCET exam will be held from June 16-18, 2022.

Step 1 - New User Registration

  • Visit the official website of KEA, i.e., kea.kar.nic.in or click on the direct link available on this page
  • Click on the 'New Registration? Click Here to Register' option
  • Enter the required information and click on the 'Submit'
  • You will receive an Application Number and User ID on your registered mobile number
  • Create a password to proceed with form filling 

Step 2 - Form Filling & Image Upload

  • You will have to login by entering the User ID and Password
  • Fill the required 'Student Informatiopn' carefully and click on the 'Save' option
  • Fill the required 'Education Details' and click on the 'Save and Next' option
  • Upload the scanned images of passport size phtograph, signature and letf-index finger thumb impression

Step 3 - Application Fee Payment

  • You can pay the application fee either online or by downloading the Challan copy
  • If you are paying the fee online, you can do the same by using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking
  • If you have downloaded the Challan Copy, visit the nearest bank (bank name specified on the challan)
  • Pay the registration fee
  • Collect the challan copy

Step 4 - Printout of Application Form & Principal Signature

  • After the successful payment of the application fee, you will have to download the application form and take the printout of the same
  • Affix (paste) the passport size photograph on the printout of application form (photo should be same as uploaded one)
  • Sign on the application form along with left-hand thumb impression
  • The application form should be signed by the Prinicipal of the college (2nd-PUC) along with a seal

The candidates will have to carry the printout of the application form along with hall ticket on the exam day.

KCET 2022 application form correction began on May 21, 2022, and the last date to make changes in the application form is May 24, 2022. Candidates who have made mistakes or filled incorrect details in the application must note that this is the last chance to make changes in the application form. After the KCET seat allotment, it is mandatory for all the students to visit the allotted institute for admission and seat confirmation. In case any candidate fails to visit the campus for admission or to confirm their seats, then his/ her seat is canceled.

Dear Student,

KCET clearly states that the student must have at least 7years of studies in Karnataka. But to get into Karnataka colleges you can attempt JEE Main or COMEDK. COMEDK gets you into the same college as KCET but there are a lesser number of colleges and the fee is higher comparatively. But if you have special categories like Defence you might be exempted.
