MHT CET 2024 Seat Allotment

MHT CET seat allotment 2024 schedule is yet to announced by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. The seat allotment of MHT CET 2024 will be released in online mode at cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates will be required to provide their MHT CET 2024 application number and password to access the MHT CET seat allotment 2024 result. The MHT CET 2024 seat allotment will be released after every round of the MHT CET counselling process 2024. Candidates who will be allotted seats need to accept the seats and report to the allotted institutes as per the specified dates for the further admission process. 

Candidates who successfully register for the MHT CET counselling 2024 and participate in the MHT CET choice filling process 2024 will be only eligible for the MHT CET seat allotment 2024.

Steps to Download MHT CET 2024 Seat Allotment

Candidates should follow the steps mentioned below to successfully download their seat allotment letter of MHT CET 2024

  • Go to the MHT CET 2024 official website i.e. cetcell.mahacet.org
  • Click on the tab available on the homepage for logging into the candidate portal with your login credentials
  • Provide your MHT CET 2024 application number and date of birth to login successfully
  • Your MHT CET seat allotment letter 2024 will be displayed on the device screen
  • Download the MHT CET 2024 seat allotment letter and take a printout of the same for the further admission process and future reference

The seat allotment letter of MHT CET 2024 includes detailed information regarding the allotted institutes.

Freeze & Not Freeze Option in MHT CET Seat Allotment 2024

After checking the MHT CET 2024 seat allotment, the candidates will have two options to choose -

Option 1 - Freeze
  • Candidates who have been allocated a seat as per the first preference will have to accept the seat allotment and pay the admission fee. 
  • Candidates who have been allocated a seat other than the first option can also accept the seat allotment if he/ she is satisfied with the same.
Option 2 - Not Freeze
  • Candidates who have been allocated a seat other than the first option and are not satisfied with the same can choose 'Not Freeze' and participate in the subsequent rounds.
  • It is advisable for candidates to accept the already allocated seat and wait for a better allotment in the subsequent rounds.
  • If the candidates get a better allotment in subsequent rounds, he/ she can accept it. In such cases, the previously allocated seat will be cancelled. 
  • If the candidates do not get a better allotment, he/ she can retain the previously allocated seat.
