Note: Maharashtra Candidature category students may view the list of engineering/ pharmacy colleges located in the districts that fall under the jurisdiction of a specific university during the choice filling process.
The conducting body reserves 5% of seats available in the engineering/pharmacy programmes offered by different institutes under the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TWFS). The TFWS is relevant specifically for those colleges where 30% of the seats get filled via the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). The tuition fee is specifically the only waiver under this scheme. Candidates coming under the Maharashtra Candidature category are eligible to apply for admission across engineering and pharmacy programmes under TFWS. Candidates qualifying MHT CET 2026 should keep in mind that his/her parent’s family income must not be more than Rs. 6,00,000 per annum for them to be eligible for the scheme.
Candidates residing in the state of Maharashtra are only eligible for reservation via the MHT CET counselling process 2026. The seats available for the engineering/pharmacy programmes across the different institutes of the state are filled according to the reservation policy of the Maharashtra government. The MHT CET Seat Allotment 2026 will be released after every round of MHT CET counselling 2026. The counselling process of MHT CET takes place online across three rounds via a Centralised Admission Process (CAP).
