• The pharmacy merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the MHT CET entrance exam or similar other exams conducted by an appropriate authority

• For the Foreign candidates (OCI/NRI/PIO/Gulf Countries), the preparation of the merit list will depend on the cumulative marks obtained by them in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics at the qualifying level

The MHT CET merit list tie-breaker policy will be used in a scenario where two or more candidates have scored the same marks in the entrance exam. The MHT CET 2023 merit list tie-breaker methodology will be employed in the following manner.

Engineering & Technology and Planning

The tie-breaking methodology for Engineering & Technology and planning will be employed in the following order of merit:

1. The highest marks secured by the candidates at CET Mathematics

2. The highest marks secured by the candidates at CET Physics

3. The highest marks secured by the candidates at CET Chemistry

4. Higher cumulative aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the qualifying exam

5. Higher marks secured in Mathematics at the HSC level

6. Higher marks secured in Physics at the HSC level

7. Higher aggregate at the HSC level

For Foreign Candidates

• Higher marks in Mathematics at the HSC level

MHT CET Counselling 2023

The counselling process is an important stage in MHT CET. Centralized and online counselling is conducted for the candidates who clear the entrance exam. The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra is responsible for conducting the counselling process of MHT CET 2023. Candidates aspiring for admission in Engineering, Pharmacy and other courses that come under the ambit of MHT CET 2023 must participate in the counselling process conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell. 

MHT CET Seat Allotment 2023

The State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra which is the examination conducting authority is responsible for conducting the seat allotment process of MHT CET 2023 as well. Candidates who have registered for the counselling process will be able to take part in the MHT CET 2023 seat allotment process. Only the candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam will be able to participate in the counselling process. The allotment of seats are done on the basis of the ranks secured by the candidates, marks scored at the intermediate levels, and availability of seats.
