How to Apply for MHT-CET 2018

To apply for MHT-CET 2018, applicants will have to visit the State common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, Mumbai MHT-CET website.

  • Applicants will have to enter their valid E-mail ID, Mobile Number and Password to login.

  • Applicants will also have to add their details (Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Email ID and Mobile No.)

  • After filling the details, applicants will have to upload their scanned (digital) recent coloured Photograph and Signature. Files uploaded must not be larger or smaller than the specified size otherwise online application system will not allow to upload it.

Specification for Photograph and Signature:

For Uploading Photograph

  • Recent coloured passport size Photograph taken against a light/white background. The application form may get rejected in case the candidate's face in the photograph is unclear.

  • The File size of the Photograph should in between 15 KB to 50 KB in jpeg format, otherwise the same will not be uploaded.

  • To reduce the size of picture applicants can crop their image of the passport size picture in MS Paint or any Photo Editor.

For Uploading Signature

  • Applicant will have to sign (no capital letters) with a black ink pen on a white paper.

  • Signature scanning should be in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings and the file size must lie between 5 KB to 20 KB in jpeg format.

  • To reduce the Signature size, crop the signature image of in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor.

MHT-CET 2018 Application Fee

  • General category applicants will have to pay INR 800/ as application fee.

  • Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and Persons with Disability applicants will have to pay INR 600/- as an application fee.

  • MHT-CET application form fee is to be paid through online system only by Credit Card/Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets for which the service charges are applicable.

  • On successful payment of the application fee, a confirmation of the same will be displayed online.

  • Applicants are then advised to take a print out of the receipt for future references and keep a printout of MHT-CET Registration Confirmation Page safe.

MHT-CET 2018 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech/B.E

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate:

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India.

  • Applicants should have passed HSC(10+2) or its equivalent exam with compulsory Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and should have marks percentage (as notified by the Government from time to time) in the these subjects.

All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates:

  •  Applicant should be a citizen of India.

  •  Applicant should have passed HSC(10+2) or its equivalent exam with Mathematics and Physics as a compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry or Biology or Biotechnology or Technical or Vocational subject and should have at least scored required percentage of marks in the above subjects taken together.

  •  Applicant should have at least taken JEE(Main) Paper I or MHT-CET 2018.

For First Year Pharmacy

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates:

  •  Applicant should be a citizen of India.

  •  Applicant should have passed HSC(10+2) or its equivalent exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology and should have obtained at least the required percentage of marks (as notified by the Government from time to time) in the above subjects taken together.

  • Applicants should have obtained a score in MHT-CET 2018.

For First year Pharma-D

Maharashtra State Candidature and All India Candidature Candidates:

  • Applicant should be a citizen of india.

  • Applicants should have passed HSC(10+2) or its equivalent exam with compulsory subjects Physics and Chemistry with one of the Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology and should have obtained at least required percentage (as notified by the Government from time to time) in the above subjects taken together.

Or

  • Applicant should have passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes of State Board affiliated and should have an approval of competent central authority and State Government and should have obtained at least required percentage of marks.

  • Applicants should have at least 50% marks in the MHT-CET 2018.
