SNAP 2021 Eligibility Criteria

SNAP 2021 eligibility criteria are laid down by Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune every year. The eligibility criteria of SNAP includes requirements that candidates must fulfil before applying for the SNAP exam. Those who wish to take SNAP 2021, must go through the eligibility criteria in detail before filling the SNAP Application Form or registering for the exam.

Candidates who fail to meet the SNAP eligibility criteria 2021 will not be permitted to appear for the entrance exam. Besides checking the eligibility criteria for SNAP exam, candidates must also go through the eligibility norms defined by the SNAP participating institutes. SNAP is going to be conducted by the Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune for admission to various management courses offered by institutes affiliated to Symbiosis International University.

Detailed Eligibility Criteria for SNAP 2021

Nationality:

  • Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

  • Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Non-Resident Indian (NRI) and Foreign Nationals can also apply.

Age Limit:

  • There is no age bar to apply for SNAP.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Candidate must hold a Bachelor degree from a recognized university/institute in which require specific discipline/ subject specialisation need to be checked for eligibility as mentioned below by the respective Institute.

  • Final year/semester students can also apply for SNAP 2021 exam subject to the condition that they should submit a qualifying certificate whenever asked.

Qualification Marks:

  • Candidates from the general category must have secured minimum 50% marks in their graduation level.

  • A 5% relaxation is provided to reserved category candidates (SC/ST).

  • Those with an engineering background should have a four-year Bachelor Degree from a recognised University with at least 50% marks in Graduation.

Foreign Qualification:

  • Candidates who have completed their graduation from foreign universities must be verified by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) to ensure they are eligible for admission to various management courses.

  • The equivalence certificate would be issued by the Equivalence Division of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Note:

  • In any case, if the candidate fails to meet the eligibility criteria, the SIU reserves all the rights to cancel his/her application.

  • Students having backlogs / fail in their final results are not eligible for admission.

  • Specific eligibility conditions apply for admission to different courses, so candidates must verify the eligibility for programmes of their choice.

  • Graduate in any engineering discipline and architecture (B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch) from an accredited university/institute, except in Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Information Systems (IS) and any related discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST category candidates.

MBA in Business Analytics

  • Graduate from an accredited university/institute with a minimum of 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% for SC/ST category candidates. 

  • 2 Years full-time work experience after completion of graduation. 

  • Foreign candidates who have completed graduation from any foreign university or institutions are also required to obtain a certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

MBA in Agri-Business

  • Graduate from an accredited University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade for general category candidates and 45% for SC/ST category candidates

  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.

  • Note: Admission of such candidate will be provisional and will be canceled in the event of non-fulfillment of the above-stated criteria.

MBA in Energy and Environment

  • Graduate from an accredited University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) in Engineering / Technology/ Architecture/ B.Sc in Environmental Science.

  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.

  • Note: Admission of such candidate will be provisional and will be canceled in the event of non-fulfillment of the above-stated criteria.

  • Graduate in B.E/ BTech (Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology) in any stream from an accredited University/ institute with a minimum of 50% marks and 45% for SC/ST candidates.

  • Foreign candidates who have completed graduation from any foreign university or institutions are also required to obtain a certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

  • Candidates should a bachelor degree with Mathematics at +2 level from an accredited university / Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

  • A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
