What is the Tie-Breaking Rule in IIT JAM Result 2026?

If there is a tie between two candidates who have taken IIT JAM examination, their score becomes a tie, then the candidate with a higher positive marks will be awarded higher rank. The candidate who has less positive marks between the two will awarded lower rank than the other did. Even in this, the tie breaking criteria fails to judge two candidates, and then two of them will be awarded the same rank.  

Candidates appearing in the JAM exam must know about the tie-breaking rule in IIT JAM result 2026, which are mentioned below.

After IIT JAM result 2026, the merit list will be released. Candidates whose names are on the IIT JAM merit list 2026 are eligible for the admission process for IIT JAM. All the candidates, who are qualified and have the name in the merit list can apply in the desired IIT or IISc, which are participating in IIT JAM, for admission.
