MICAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

MICAT Eligibility 2024: Every year, MICA Ahmedabad conducts MICAT to offer admission to deserving candidates in its Post Graduate Diploma Management in Communications (PGDM-C). The conducting authority i.e. MICA, Ahmedabad has not set any age limit to apply for MICAT 2024, but a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is a must for the candidates willing to apply for the exam.

MICAT is conducted twice a year (December & January) in two phases. Mudra Institute of Communication, Ahmedabad (MICA), initiated the registration for MICAT 2024 phase 2 on November 23, 2023. Aspiring candidates can complete their registration for the second-phase exam on the official website. MICAT-I iwas conducted on December 2, 2023, while MICAT-II will be held on January 27, 2024.     Age Limit in MICAT 2024

    • As per MICAT 2024 eligibility criteria, there is no age limit for candidates who are going to appear in the online entrance exam.

    Academic Eligibility Criteria of MICAT 2024

    • Candidates should've passed their Bachelor’s degree (with the 10+2+3 system) or any equivalent examination in any subject, which is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIUs).

    • Candidates who are in their final year can also apply. However, they must submit proof of graduation completion within the specified time period.

    • Foreign candidates are also eligible to apply. However, they must keep a foreign passport and have a GMAT score of 600+.

    • Non-Resident Indians can apply with GMAT scores (2019 onwards).

    Qualifying Examination in MICAT 2024

    • In order to complete the MICAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria, candidates should have taken any one of the three national-level management entrance examinations such as CAT (Common Admission Test)XAT 2024, or GMAT Exam).
    • The rank or marks scored by the candidates in these examinations will be the basis of admission to the management programs.

    What does MICAT Eligibility Criteria mean?

    MICAT eligibility criteria are a set of conditions that any candidate who wishes to appear for MICAT must meet. Candidates who do not meet the MICAT eligibility criteria will not be allowed to appear for the exam. These are the entry requirements related to degree, age and personality that the course seeks from its students.

    What is the minimum educational qualification required for MICAT?

    The minimum educational qualification required for MICAT is a bachelor's degree from a recognized HEI and the Association of Indian Universities. Candidates from any educational background are eligible to apply. There is no minimum marks requirement prescribed by the university for the applicants.

    Can final year students apply for MICAT?

    Yes, final-year students are eligible to appear for MICAT. However, they are only granted provisional admission if they qualify for the exam unless they submit the final year scores. So you should make sure that you will receive your final year scores before the admission process of MICA starts.

    Do I need to appear in any entrance exam to qualify for MICAT?

    Yes, candidates who are foreign nationals are eligible to apply for MICAT. However, they are required to have a foreign passport and a valid GMAT score of over 600. Only international students who fulfil both criteria are eligible to take the MICAT test. There is no particular age requirement for the exam.

    Is the MICAT eligibility criteria different for reserved candidates?
