Predict RankThe XAT syllabus 2026 consists of four sections, namely Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, and General Knowledge. VALR combines Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, and Logical Reasoning. The Decision Making section has no specific syllabus, and the questions focus on the candidate's presence of mind and analytical skills. The QA & DI section includes basic mathematical topics and data interpretation questions, while the GK section contains questions on current affairs and conventional GK (trivia). The Essay Writing section has been removed and will now be part of the XLRI selection process. Subjective and descriptive questions, such as the Essay Writing section, have been eliminated for XAT 2026.
Analytical Essay Writing will now be part of the XLRI selection process in 2026.
