The CLAT merit list is released round-wise during the counselling process. The allotment list is provided online separately for UG and PG courses. Those on the CLAT merit list must pay the seat confirmation fee to confirm their allocation within the specified dates.

CLAT merit list 2026 is released in the form of allotment lists during CLAT counselling process. For each round, a separate CLAT merit list is released for UG and PG admissions for each NLU. The merit list of CLAT is prepared based on your rank and choices filled. To access CLAT 2026 merit list, examinees have to visit the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Please note that the merit list is provided separately for both UG and PG courses. Those on the seat allotment list are required to confirm their seats by paying the fee. The all India CLAT 2026 merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by you in CLAT. The CLAT merit list 2026 will include all the students irrespective of their CLAT qualification status. It will be a list of the students arranged in descending order of their CLAT scores. Those who have a higher score will get a better rank as compared to the rest of the students. CLAT topper will have AIR 1 rank and it will be followed by the candidate who has the second highest marks.
Once CLAT 2026 merit list is released, the counselling process begins. Those who are shortlisted for counselling through the merit list will have to complete the CLAT counselling registration and pay the specified fees in online mode for the same. Counselling will take place in 3 - 5 rounds and it will involve verification of the documents of the candidates. If a candidate is unable to get a seat, he/ she may complete the remaining admission formalities by visiting the NLU allotted to him/ her.
