About the OCET 2026 Exam 

Haryana LEET has been scrapped by the authorities, and the admissions to the undergraduate engineering, pharmacy, and diploma disciplines provided by the government and private institutions in Haryana will be done on the OCET exam, also known as the Online Common Entrance Test. This test is also conducted for the B.Pharmacy, B.E./B.Tech (lateral entry) admissions. For admissions to the B.Pharmacy programs, you should have completed 10+2 from PCM/PCB, for admissions to B.Pharmacy (lateral entry), you should have completed a diploma in pharmacy, and for admissions to B.E./B. Tech (lateral entry), you should have completed a diploma in engineering and other fields.

OCET 2026 eligibility criteria are prescribed by the Haryana State Board of Technical Education (HSTES). It is important for the candidates to fulfill the OCET 2026 eligibility criteria for admissions to their respective disciplines. Students who do not match the eligibility criteria for the OCET exam should not fill out the application form for the exam. 

The OCET 2026 registration process will commence in May-June 2026. It is imperative for the students to complete the OCET 2026 registration process for admissions to the undegradte/later entry engineering and pharmacy disciplines in Haryana. Step 1: Sign Up & Login 

The candidates need to sign up and log in with their details and provide the information with which they want to register. They will have to go to the official website (hstes.org.in) and tap on the option to apply online, read the instructions carefully before filling out the form.

Step 2: Fill in the Relevant Details 

While filling out the application form, candidates have to fill in their relevant details for submission of the application form. Fill in all the details like name, date of birth, contact details, educational details, etc. 

Step 3: Upload Documents 

Now the candidates can upload the scanned copies of the required documents like photograph, signature, and educational certificates. 

Step 4: Payment of Application Fees 

It is important for the candidates filling out the application form to pay the application fees through online payment methods like credit and debit card/net banking, etc. 

Step 5: Submit the Application Form & Take a Printout 

At last, the candidates should submit their OCET 2026 application form and take a printout so that they can use it for future reference.

OCET admit card will hold all the important details of the exam, like name & address of the exam centre, exam timings, etc.

OCET 2026 results will be released by the Haryana State Board of Technical Education, Panchkula, after the exams get over in July 2026. You need to qualify in the OCET 2026 results to be able to secure admissions to your desired colleges. Those who pass the results with the minimum qualifying criteria will only be eligible for the OCET counselling process. Those who do not qualify in the OCET results will not be eligible for the counselling process. 

The Haryana State Board of Technical Education will start the counselling after the exam. • Counselling Registration: The applicants who clear the OCET 2026 exam and pass the minimum qualifying criteria have to will be eligible to take part in the counselling process. The first step in the counselling process is registration. The authorities will open the registration window for the students, and they can register within the given timeline. 
• Choice Filling & Locking: Now the students have to fill in their choice programs and colleges, and then lock their choices after they confirm it. It is important for the students to take this step seriously as the choices filled by the students during the choice filling and locking process will only be taken into consideration. 
• Allocation of Seats: Now the examination authorities will consider the choices filled by the students during the choice filling and locking process and check their eligibility for the college & program they have opted for. If the students meet the criteria well the authorities will grant them admission to their desired college & program. 
• Verification of Documents: This stage is crucial for the students, and to proceed with this stage smoothly, they should keep their documents prepared. It is very important for the qualifying students to get their documents verified in the counseling process. Any information found false in the documents, or any filled information that does not match the documents, can also lead to dismissal from the counseling process. It is imperative for the students to get their documents verified as per the guidelines. 
• Admission Fees Payment: To confirm the seats allotted to the students, it is important for them to make the minimum payment amount as per the notification. Paying the fees amount required fees for admission confirms the acceptance of the seat and makes the candidate sure about their admission process. The fees should be paid within the stipulated deadline as given by the examination authorities. 
• Confirmation of the Seat by Reporting to the College: Once the fee is paid, it is mandatory for the students to confirm their seats by being present in the college on the given date. students should report to their respective colleges once they have completed all the above steps. It is mandatory for the students to be present in their colleges on the allotted date & time as per the examination authorities.
