MICAT I 2022 Application Form

MICAT I 2021 registrations have commenced in October 2021. The last date to apply for MICAT I 2021 is November 20, 2021 at 11:50 pm.

MICAT I 2022 Application Form: Direct Link

The second phase of registrations for MICAT II 2022 began on November 23, 2021 and it will continue till January 16, 2022. at 11:50pm. MICAT is conducted in two phases i.e. MICAT I and MICAT II. Interested candidates must check the MICAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria before applying for the entrance examination. Candidates have to register on the official website first to proceed to fill the application form. Once the candidates successfully complete the registration process, they are allotted a system-generated user ID and password, which is sent to their registered email ID. With these login credentials, the candidate can fill the application form and submit it before the last date of registration.

Established in 1991, MICA Ahmedabad is the conducting body of MICAT, which offers admission to candidates in Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communications (PGDM-C). Every year, MICA organizes this national-level entrance test for candidates aspiring to pursue a career in the field of Management-Communications.

Step by Step Process to Apply for MICAT 2022

The application form is different for New applicants and for Already registered applicants. Candidates need to click on their category.

  • New Registration

  • Already Registered Users

Step 1: Registration:

  • Visit the Official Website of MICA i.e www.mica.ac.in

  • Click on the link 'Admissions Open Apply Online' tab.

  • After clicking on the appropriate link, there are two options for MICAT 2022 registration i.e New registration and Already registered users.

  • Clicking on the 'New registration' tab, the instructions page will appear.

  • Read Carefully the instructions page, click on the 'I Agree' tab to accept the Terms & Conditions.

  • Now, fill the details such as the applicant's name, mobile number, email address, security code, and password, agree to the terms & conditions.

  • Upon final submission, a confirmation page appears with User ID and Password.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form:

  • In this step, you have to fill the following details mentioned below:

  • Personal details such as the Date of Birth, Gender, Age, Nationality, Marital status, Parents’ Name, and Correspondence Address, postal address.

  • Next, you have to fill Contact details, choice of centre (The applicant has the provision of selecting 3 MICAT Exam Centers and also the GE/P centre)

  • Education details such as class 10, Class 12, Graduation details, Master/PG Details, Experience details etc.

  • Management exam score such as CAT/XAT/GMAT.

  • After that, you have to upload scanned images of your recent passport-sized photograph in the prescribed format.

Step 3: Payment of Fee:

  • You are required to pay the requisite application fee through online/Cash(SBI Bank Only)/Demand Draft.

  • MICAT Application Fee is INR 1985/- for all the categories.

For Online Payment:

  • In online mode, payment can be made by using Debit Card/ Credit Card.

  • You can be also be transferred the application fees to MICA account via Net banking option.

For Offline Payment:

The offline payment of MICAT Application Form can be done into two ways via Cash and Demand Draft.

By Cash:

  • You can pay the application fee by cash, click on 'Payment through SBI Bank' tab.

  • After that, applicants need to take a print out of the SBI bank Challan.

  • Note: The Challan will be divided into three parts. After paying the application fees at an SBI Bank branch in your city, the bank will return two parts of the Challan i.e the copy for the candidate and the second is the MICA copy which should be sent to the MICA application centre.

By Demand Draft:

  • Applicants can also pay the application fee of MICAT through the demand draft that must be drawn in favour of “MICA” payable at Ahmedabad.

  • After successfully payment of the application fee, applicants required to send the Demand Draft, along with a printout of the Payment Advice Form, to the following address: Admissions Office, MICA, Shela, Ahmedabad – 380 058, India

Step 4: Submission of Application form:

  • After filling the complete MICAT application form, applicants must cross-check all the details filled in the application form to avoid errors in the Admit Card. 

  • If you wish to edit some information, click on 'Edit tab'

  • After that, click on 'Submit tab'.

  • Take a printout of MICAT 2022 filled application form for your records.

Note: While filling the MICAT 2022 application form, please update your CAT/ XAT and GMAT score on before January 20, 2022.

MICAT 2022 Application form for Already Registered Users:

  • For already registered users, the MICAT-II registration form will open on November 26, 2020.

  •  It will be a smaller application form and will require fewer details.

All applicants who will successfully register can download their MICAT 2022 Admit Card which will be available on the official website of MICA

Pre-requisites Required for MICAT 2022 Application Form

Enlisted below are the pre-requisite details that an individual must fill in the application form of MICAT 2022.

  • A valid email address and contact details

  • Educational Qualifications

  • Employment Experience (if any)

  • A computer system /laptop with good internet connectivity 

  • A recent photograph in the prescribed size and format

  • Mark-sheets or Degree certificates (10th, 12th and graduation or any other higher qualification).

  • Credit/debit/Net banking details, in case the payment of MICAT fees is online.

  • The scores of any of the appeared Management entrance exams like CAT/ XAT/ GMAT.
