The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will conduct the NIFT Entrance Exam 2026 across 37 cities in India. The city intimation slip will be released in January 2026 by NTA, mentioning the allotted exam city. The NIFT Admit Card 2026 will include complete details such as the exam centre address, reporting time, and exam day guidelines, including permitted and restricted items. 

Passing the GAT written exam is mandatory for all programmes — BFTech, BDes, MFTech, MDes, and MFM, while only BDes and MDes aspirants must appear for the CAT written exam. Instructions to Follow at NIFT Exam Centres 2026

• One hour before the start of the exam, test takers must appear at the NIFT 2026 testing centre.

• Only after the examination is over, candidates will be allowed to leave the testing facility.

• To take the NIFT 2026 exam, students need to present both their admit card and a valid government ID.

• Candidates must bring HB pencils, an eraser, a sharpener, dry colouring for the Creativity Ability Test (CAT), a blue or black ballpoint pen, and an eraser to the NIFT exam centres 2026.

• Applicants will not be allowed to engage in any unfair practices, and their candidatures will be withdrawn if proven dishonest.
