UCEED 2026 Exam-day Guidelines

IIT Bombay has communicated guidelines for candidates to follow at the exam venue through the UCEED Hall Tickets 2026:

• Identity Verification: The invigilators and IIT representatives will verify the candidate's identity. If there is any doubt about the candidate's identity, they may not be permitted to take the exam. In certain situations, candidates can proceed with the exam after fulfilling specific requirements. However, no additional time will be given to compensate for the time spent on these procedures. The final decision on the candidacy of such individuals rests with the UCI Committee and is binding.
• Impersonation/Use of Unfair Means: Engaging in such actions will be treated as a severe offence and may result in disqualification. Additionally, legal action may be taken against individuals involved in these activities.
• Reporting Time: Candidates should arrive at their UCEED exam centre by 7 AM. The UCEED admit card 2026 and a valid, original photo identity proof are necessary for recording biometric information (thumb impression and photograph) before starting the examination.
• Exiting the Exam Hall: Candidates are required to stay in the examination hall for the entire duration of the exam. 
• Blank sheets: Blank sheets for rough work will be provided and handed over to the invigilator after completing UCEED Part A.
• Stationery: Candidates must bring their drawing materials, including pens, pencils, sketch pens, and colours for the examination. However, it's important to note that drawing sheets are not permitted inside the examination hall.
• Items NOT Permitted: Electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartphones, watches, calculators, tablets, etc., are strictly prohibited in the examination hall. Candidates are also not allowed to bring items like an abacus, slide rule, log books, study material, geometry box, and similar items. Any additional prohibited items will be listed on the website before the exam.
