UCEED 2026 Results

UCEED 2026 results have been released on March 6, 2026, online in PDF format. IIT Bombay authorities have announced the UCEED 2026 exam results, and it consists of students' names; roll numbers; Part A marks for all candidates; Part B, Total Score, and Merit Rank (s) only for candidates qualifying the UCEED 2026 exam; Category-wise qualifying marks; and pass status etc. You can download the scorecards from March 10 till July 31, 2026. UCEED Result 2026 Tie-Breaker

If one or more applicants have identical exam scores, a tie-break policy is instituted to allocate UCEED 2026 ranks according to the following guidelines:

• A higher rank will be awarded to the applicant who received better marks in Part B.
• Applicants with higher scores in Section 2 of Part A will be given a higher rank if criteria (1) is unable to break the tie.
• Students with higher scores in Section 1 of Part A will be given a higher rank if criteria (1) and (2) do not break the tie.
• Following the aforementioned procedures, if a tie still exists, the applicants will be given the same rank.

Note: It is essential to understand that passing the UCEED exam does not ensure admission to the BDes programme. Participants in the joint seat allocation/counselling process are required of aspirants on the UCEED 2026 merit list.

How is the Total UCEED 2026 Score Calculated?

The sum of the marks from Parts A and B will determine the final UCEED 2026 score. The final result/rank will be prepared using this total score for UCEED 2026. This implies that the total score for an applicant will be calculated by adding their marks from both Part A and Part B of the examination.

UCEED Evaluation Criteria 2026

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) will conduct the evaluation process for the UCEED 2026 exam for both parts, which is Part - A and Part - B. Where Part - A consists of multiple-choice questions (NAT, MSQ, and MCQ) and Part - B consists of drawing and sketching. Find the UCEED 2026 evaluation criteria below:

UCEED 2026 Part A Evaluation Criteria

• Part A of the UCEED 2026 exam will be conducted in the computer-based test mode and there will not be any reviewing, re-grading or re-totalling part-A marks of the exam paper. No provision for re-evaluation or re-totalling exists and the request for re-evaluation or re-totalling will not be considered under any circumstances.
• In Part - B will, there will be two questions that will be manually evaluated by experts. No model solution will be there. However, there will be a subjective section in part - B of the UCEED 2026 question paper. Evaluation of part - B will be done holistically based on the criteria that is given in the question.
• While shortlisting candidates, the marks obtained in Part A will be considered.
• If you are not shortlisted after Part A, your Part B of the paper will not be evaluated.
• Ranks will be allotted only to the shortlisted candidates.

UCEED 2026 Part B Evaluation Criteria

Part B of the UCEED 2026 paper will be evaluated manually by a minimum of two expert evaluators but separately and independently. The scheme of evaluation done for each question in Part B has been provided below:

• For a difference of <= 10 marks in the marks that is awarded by the two evaluators, a simple average of the two evaluators will be taken into consideration.
• For a difference of >10 marks, a third expert examiner will be responsible for evaluating the answer sheet of part - B and so on until there is a difference of <= 10 marks.
• While providing the final marks, the average of the closest of two evaluations will be selected and considered.
• A moderator will be entrusted with the responsibility of examining the answers, if there is a difference in marks of the closest of two evaluations which is >10 even after several evaluations.
• The higher average will be considered while calculating the final score, if the difference in marks between the moderator and either of the examiners is the same.

What After the UCEED Result 2026?

Upon the release of the UCEED exam result 2026, applicants must take part in the counselling procedure. For the UCEED 2026 counselling process, the application form for BDes course admission was accessible till March 31, 2023. Applicants who meet the requirements must register and indicate, in order of preference, which institutions they prefer.
